SLIDING OFF A MOUNTAIN | Bristol, West England Day 4
We started the day at the extensive Bristol Museum, before having a hearty lunch at St Nick's Market (the falafel is hard to beat). The Clifton Suspension Bridge was a spectacular sight at sunset, and then we had some affordable but sweet cider at The Apple.

We get a little tipsy on our cider tour of Bristol. As a Somerset boy, Alex is a huge fan of cider so we went hunting for the best cider haunts in Bristol.
We visited the oldest pub in Bristol, the Hatchet Inn, along with a personal favourite, The White Lion, overlooking the Clifton suspension bridge. Later, we visit The Cori Tap and end the night at The Apple, a bar on a boat serving nothing but cider!
Apple cider is famous in Somerset and is a MUST TRY if you come to England. Our personal favourite is Thatchers, which can be found all over the country.

Welcome to the official Travel Beans YouTube channel! On this channel, you’ll find a variety of travel and vlog content, in which you’ll see us in places like Thailand, Japan, USA, Slovenia, and more.
In 2017 we left home with just £500 in our bank account and a dream to make a sustainable travel lifestyle happen! We are now living our dream as digital nomads and want to inspire you to create your own story, whatever it may be!
After 5 years of aimless, yet enjoyable, backpacking around the world we found ourselves in New York City battling with depression. At this point, we decided to go home and confront this problem head on. After 6 tough months at home we decided to go away again, but this time with a goal in mind.. to turn travel into a lifestyle.
Our time spent battling depression has influenced our outlook on life dramatically! We are now traveling the world in search of what makes us happy. In our vlogs, we talk openly and honestly about our travel experiences, the digital nomad life and depression. We hope our videos can help to inspire you to create a life that makes you happy!
We work online and aim to spread the message of “Earn Less, Live More”, which encourages people to question their definition of success, and to pursue what makes them truly happy instead of chasing only money.

'The Lost Arcade' pop-up nostalgia gaming, Bristol UK, 25/10/2019
A bit of a long video, won't blame you for skipping it, but it's probably the last time I'll ever see any of these machines for real.
You have until the 31st Dec 2019 to get down to Bristol and play these original arcade games! Have to book tickets for 3 hour sessions, no coins needed, all machines freeplay.
It was quite dark & had pumping dance/techno music (Prodigy, The Shamen etc.) like a proper original arcade which is why the sportcam I took along had trouble seeing much detail. The screens only flicker on camera because they're CRT's, you don't see that flicker with your own eyes.
Lots of fun, felt like a kid in the 80s again :)
It wasn't over crowded because they limit how many tickets per session are sold, ensuring you will be able to have a go on any game you want, the biggest problem is picking which ones to play!

There are also cafes and restaurants on the upper ground floor, these include Five Guys, TGI Friday's and Pret a Manger. On the opposite side of Penn street is the Quakers Friars area, which houses Harvey Nichols having been opened by Dita Von Teese.[7] Other outlets in the area include French Connection, Hugo Boss, Michael Kors, Kurt Geiger, Fat Face and an Apple Store. Philadelphia Street studios, which closed in 2014, has also been used for exhibitions and gallery hire by various Bristol based art galleries including Antlers Gallery. Here they held exhibitions such as Dark Suits which ran from 9 April - 6 May 2011, Still Chaos, which ran from 3–27 May 2012. Antlers Gallery also hosted their Winter Shop at the gallery space in 2011. In January 2016, the American womenswear and lingerie retailer, Victoria's Secret, opened their first store in the South West.[8]

I've been working on this project in my spare time between March 2013 and March 2014. One of the goals in the edit was to tell little stories using subtle interplays between shots, sometimes spanning over several shots. I love the richness and depth that time-lapse photography filmmaking provides, you always notice different things on subsequent viewings.
The project has been a real labour of love and features over 100 location shoots, with around 9000 separate images used for the final edit. I spent countless hours in pre-production, location shooting, and post production. From travelling around locations with lots of motion control equipment -- to fine tuning, finessing, and polishing sequences to arrive at the final edit. Time-lapse filmmaking takes a great deal of patience and determination.
If you enjoy the film and appreciate the time and effort, please show some love by giving it a like / social share (you can also find it on Vimeo here: Please share it with your friends and family : )
