My first ever Vancouver Aquabus trip experience
Join me on my first ever aquabus experience. After living here for almost 20yrs i have yet to try this public transportation even tho I've been seeing them crossing false creek every time i'm in the area, it just never came to me to try it out ti'll now.
Part 2 of this video coming soon....
If you want more information about the Aquabus you can visit their website here.
One day should be more than enough if you just want to walk around the area where it docks. But if i have to choose 1 stop for this trip it would be Granville Island there's just so much stuff to see there inside and outside the market.
You will see some public performance just outside the market from time to time and its just a great place to hangout.
TOURIST ATTRACTIONS | The Aquabus | Vancouver BC Canada
Since I love being on water it was a great attraction and way to go around Vancouver. There's many stops you can hop on, hop off, stops at most attractive parts of the city you might want to visit, schedule is pretty convenient, fairly priced. Skippers are friendly and ready to help. I would recommend getting around by ferry instead of a tour bus, waterfront is just super satisfying. And it's a much nicer perspective of the city. Especially beautiful after it gets dark.”
The Aquabus's 13 vessels make stops up and down False Creek every 15 minutes or less -- so you never have to wait long for a ride. All of our routes are wheelchair accessible and bike-friendly. Hop aboard our iconic rainbow boats to enjoy the spectacular Vancouver skyline from a unique and impressive vantage point! The Aquabus is a family-owned business that has been providing ferry transportation in False Creek since 1986. With over 30 years of experience serving False Creek and the surrounding area, the Aquabus is an essential adventure for tourists and commuters alike.
Granville Island Public Market - Vancouver BC
Come along for an unforgettable visit to the popular tourist attraction in Vancouver known as Granville Island.
Aquabus Vancouver
The best way to get around False Creek. Price is very reasonable I think. Even for people who aren't a fan of traveling by water, because the ride is smooth enough for you to stand up and look outside. Great transportation and the staff is helpful too.

Wishing you all a Happy New Year on this beautiful day in Vancouver. One of my favorite places to spend a day is at Granville Island with the spectacular markets and amazing Canadian Cuisine! Vancouver Aquabus Ferry - Who Are The Amazing Women Skippers?!
Vancouver Aquabus Ferry features some very talented women skippers shining at a skill in a very male dominated industry. Aquabus Ferries is a water taxi service on Granville Island in Vancouver; they have many more women captains of all demographics that I could not feature here. The Aquabus is a staple of the Vancouver waterways.
Technicals:
* Most of the footage was captured on my Pixel 2 Cell phone. GREAT in-phone stabilization!
* The majority of the outro footage was taken last year, on my LG G4 phone. The quality is noticeably lower and the footage unstabilized.
* I also used the DJI Mobile Gimbal and recorded voice audio on the Zoom H4N Pro. A wonderful portable field recorder with professional sampling.
