Daegu South Korea: The Beautiful Arc
In Daegu there is a building with amazing, unique architecture. This building is an art exhibit with a coffee shop inside. Around the Arc there are several places where you can rent bicycles, segways, and scooters. All of these have cool lights so that you can look extra cool when riding at night. There's also a lighted fountain show and just several places to take nice pictures.
If you're in the Daegu area you have to check out the Arc!

The ARC in construction in Daegu S. Korea
The ARC designed in 2012 by Asymptote Architecture, is a multimedia museum and event space now opening in Daegu South Korea. The project contains a 360 degree video environment as well as gallery spaces, auditorium and rooftop cafe and lounge. The ARC is a project centered around the rich and diverse cultures in Korea associated with the waterways and their intense history. The architecture is a temple of sorts to the rivers and waterways that stretch across Korea. The architecture celebrates the artistry, narratives, poetics and histories of these rivers and the nature, villages and cities that draw on them for sustenance, local culture and life.

In the Four River Pavilion The ARC (Daegu, South Korea) with its spectacular architecture by Hani Rashid a 60m x 20m large seamless projection has been installed in the shape of a Moebius-strip. The Pavilion was opened in the course of the World EXPO 2012 in South Korea as one of the four rivers cultural pavilions and showcases the last project of the environmental Four River Restoration Project.
domeprojection.com installed auto-alignment and calibrated the large 34-channel projection system of the large circle way, which is the main attraction inside the Four River Pavilion.

RENTAL of BIKES Around The ARC (디아크).|| Daegu, South Korea||
WE took a side trip to Daegu. It was indeed a pleasant surprise to see The ARC. The view of the lush mountains, bountiful rivers.
ARC stands for Architecture of River Culture or Artistry of River Culture. The design looks as though a fish is breaching the surface of a lake or stream, yet, also points to the look of traditional Korean porcelain ware.

My experience at The Arc, South Korea
The Arc Has free entrance! and it is so beautiful at night. This is one of the attraction places in Daegu, South Korea. I suggest you take the taxi to The Arc if you are with 4 person group The bus is too hasty. Other than that, some shops have different pricing of scooters. So be sure to check around to get the best prices. The best time to go here is at 6-9pm for summer in South Korea. The scooter that we rent at The Arc is for 2 hours and we get discounts cause we bargained. The person also can speak english! Thank God.

Best places in Korea - Daegu
3 great activities to do in Daegu, South Korea, a city in the southern region of the country. Over 2 days we went zip-lining at a place called Hillcrest, went to E-World amusement park in the evening, and rode tandem bikes and segways along Nakdong River at a place called The Arc (an interesting and odd looking structure in Daegu).
We got around to these places by taxi, bus, and subway which were all pretty cheap and easy to use. After The Arc we actually had help from the segway rental guy to use the Kakao Taxi app and call a cab for us to get back to the train station.
