Numbers match front to back, has build sheet and NCRS shipping data report. Just finished a concourse restoration to factory condition. Loaded with options. You couldn't dream of a better 1970 SS-454, not even if you had a time machine and could go back and order one!
EXTERIOR: The body and paint are phenomenal, absolutely better than it was when it was brand new. Every square inch is laser straight. The paint is polished like glass. The stripes are painted to correct dimensions and you can't feel them. Jambs are painted slick and detailed.
Every single piece of trim, chrome, grill, lenses etc is new. Remote mirror is excellent original. The wheels are correctly restored. Has new BFG tires. All the weather stripping, window seals are replaced. All new tinted glass. New black top, new glass rear window. The power top pump, rams and lines were restored. The top frame was restored, new weatherstrips.
INTERIOR: Completely restored and I do mean completely. You won't know by looking at it but if you peeled the upholstery off you would see the seat springs are painted, if you took the door panels off you would see the inside workings of the door is all restored. Seats have all new upholstery, headrests, plastic seat backs and chrome. New door panels, armrests, handles, chrome switches for locks and windows. Dash is completely restored. Gauges are all working, even the clock. The instrument panel is new, chrome trim sparkles, dash pad is new, heater controls, vents are new. Has new deluxe steering wheel on a rebuilt tilt column. Center console is all new. Has the correct Muncie shifter with chrome shift ball. All new reproduction GM seat belts. Visors are new. Interior lights work, even the glove box light. The factory Am-Fm stereo turns on but dial doesn't move. Power windows move quickly. Also has power locks, seat and trunk.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 454 has correct casting codes, dates and stamping including matching vin #s. It may look stock but was internally upgraded with LS-6 performance parts. Has a dyno sheet showing 475 hp and 540 lbs of torque. Rebuilt, #s match and dated water pump, distributor, heads, Holley carb, alternator. Correct #s on intake, crank pulley, exhaust manifolds, fan. We have a list of those codes. Detailed to concourse condition. New cadmium plated brake booster, correct master cylinder, restored wiper motor, air conditioning system is all gone through and updated to R134a freon. Cowl induction system is complete and functional. Has a spring clamp battery cables, correct GM hoses and clamps. The underhood light works.

Curitiba is the capital of Paraná, Brazil. If you're heading for Iguaçu Falls from Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo, it's worth stopping by for a day or two. There is a great cidade velha (old city) in the center which was restored very well for its 319 years, but unfortunately much of it is covered in graffiti and only a few of the buildings are aesthetically pleasing as a result. There is a huge arts and crafts fair every Sunday in the old city that is well worth visiting.Curitiba has a very simple and practical transportation system. Public transportation consists entirely of buses. There are several different types of bus, each with a different function.
Driving can be difficult for those who are not used to the traffic in Curitiba, especially for first comers. In the central area, there are many one-way streets, parking restrictions as well as pedestrian-only and bus-only streets. Bus lanes are very common in Curitiba, as the city has over 60 km (38 miles) of them. Most avenues are wide and have spacious sidewalks and they are mostly laid out in a grid system in the city center area.
Many visitors from outside Brazil are not prepared to feel cold in this tropical country. This is precisely the case in Curitiba, located off from the tropic parallel, and elevated by an altitude of almost 1000 meters above the sea level. Curitiba has a good variety of restaurants, ranging from modest to upscale restaurants. Note that the downtown (centro) area caters mainly to the business lunch crowd, and is very quiet at night with many restaurants closed. On Sundays nearly all bars and restaurants are closed downtown.
Curitiba has also taken innovative approaches to urban ills such as homelessness, pollution and poverty, and it’s now the envy of urban planners the world over and the country's most efficient city. With its abundant green spaces, sophisticated population and well-heeled infrastructure, this is a good spot to recharge your batteries and enjoy Brazil at its functioning best.

This is the first part of our City tour by bus in Curitiba, Brazil. We visited the BOSQUE ALEMÃO (Park of the Germans) and I am explaining how to get to the bus stop at Praca Tiradentes and how everything works. Also, I am explaining why there are so much monuments in honour of foreign people in the city.
How to get to the bus stop: Take a taxi or public transport to Praca Tiradentes. At the church Catedral Nossa Senhora da luz go to the taxi stand. There is the Tourist bus stop.

Jardim da Luz, Sao Paulo, Brazil
Jardim da Luz is a small park in the city of São Paulo. The park is near the Luz station, and the Pinacoteca, a museum which holds shows of modern and contemporary art, near the Historic City Hall. Originally created in 1798 as a botanical garden, the garden was transformed into a public park only in 1938, initially serving partly as a big pasture for cattle and horses.
In 1900 it was inaugurated as the headquarters of Museaum of the Artes for São Paulo, a building that nowadays holds the aforesaid Pinacoteca.
During a big part of the 20th century, Jardim da Luz passed by a severe period of degradation, serving as a zone of prostitution and drug trafficking. The situation reverted itself with the revitalization of the central region led by the state government. The results were, among others, the installation of sculptures in the park, the reform of the Pinacoteca do Estado, and better police supervision of the area.
Nowadays, on the first Sunday of each month, car collectors, bike enthusiasts, and every type of wheeled vehicle restoration buff, brings there works of rolling art to the Jardim da Luz to show-off their restoration work.

Railroad, Brazil's Atlantic forest
Traveling along 110 km of a railroad with 125 years of history through the largest preserved area of Brazil's Atlantic forest. The Mountain Range Train of Paraná departs from the city of Curitiba to Morretes everyday and on Sundays it also arrives at Paranaguá. The trip takes approximately 3 hours.

MORRETES
The city of Morretes was founded in 1721. It is in the middle of the Mountain Range of Paraná, between the capital and the coast. The bucolism of its routine, the pleasant climate, the options for ecotourism, the gastronomic attractions and historic buildings attract hundreds of citizens from Curitiba (Curitibanos) to the city every weekend. Morretes is being discovered by tourists who love nature and seek, through ecotourism, an interaction with the environment.
What to see: Typical Food, Graciosa Road, Mountain Range tracks, Historical Center, Marumbi Park, Porto de Cima, Nhundiaquara River.

PARANAGUÁ
As Morretes and Antonina, Paranaguá is a historical city of Paraná's coast. The city had its development stimulated by the railroad construction which connected it with Curitiba. Thus, the Port of Paranaguá became the second of Brazil in terms of volume and the first in terms of grain transportation. Founded in 1648, the city is rich in historical buildings to explore such as museums, churches, colonial mansions, monuments, among others.

Wow, this is the GTO motherlode! Pontiac Historical documented convertible born with tri-power, 4-speed, posi- power steering, brakes, top and antenna. Also born with console, deluxe wheel and tachometer. Great factory colors, #s match motor. Wait, not done yet, it's a California original metal car too! Built in Freemont, sold in Hollywood and lived in California most it's life. It also has some nice upgrades too including Hotchkis suspension, disc brake conversion, 17 inch Rally 1 wheels on radial redlines.
EXTERIOR: It shows really well. Clean body that is claimed to have its original metal. Repainted it's original Yorktown blue. Metal flake is laid out nice and the clear coat is polished very glossy. All the chrome and trim is really nice. Bumpers are bright, the hood grills are shiny, vent window pillars aren't pitted. In back the tail panel is nice. Power convertible top looks new- crisp white, crystal clear window. Great looking modern version of the wheels. Upgraded new 17 inch Rally 1 wheels with new trim. Has low profile radial redline tires.
INTERIOR: All new reproduction upholstery, door panels, armrests. Has new blue carpet and reproduction floormats. Nice original console. Blue seatbelts front and back. The dash area is very nice. The metal is painted nice, machine turned bezel is mint, heater controls are excellent. Gauges were restored, $420. Has factory tachometer. Speedo was set to 0 when the car was restored. Was 89,000 original, now shows 2,040 since finished. Down below is a neatly installed cluster of gauges to monitor the engines vitals. Has original manuals and a sales brochure in the glovebox.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Correct 389 tri-power motor. Has correct 76X code that matches the PHS docs and casting date is 1964. Completely rebuilt engine with receipt. Hardened valves. Tri-power carbs were rebuilt. Motor is painted real nice, has rechromed valve covers, alternator looks new. Everything's proper- the hoses, correct clamps, new fan shroud, has a Delco battery topper, new hood insulation, wiring is all tidy. Everything is neatly painted.
