Marco Bailey is truly an icon in dance music, with relentless touring and releases across a wide variety of respected labels such as: Drumcode, Intec, Sleaze etc. After his acclaimed Dragon Man LP on John Digweed’s Bedrock label (2011), Marco released the notable Stella EP (Intec) followed by Jungle Laps (Bedrock) (2012). Esteemed artists such as Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Gregor Tresher & Nic Fanciulli all remixed his tracks.
Marco’s own imprint, MB Elektronics saw him churn out no less than 5 separate EPs in 2012 alone. This was followed up by what some techno aficionados have dubbed a masterpiece, his 12 track album “High Volume” which dropped in 2013 along with the documentary “Marco Bailey.” Just born is also his new imprint MBR limited, a special limited series editions of 20 EP's, all showing the deeper, dark & pureness of the Techno Sound of Marco Bailey, with brilliant Remixes Black Asteroid, Flug, Mike Dehnert & Korova.

The BPM Festival: Droog at Mamita's Beach Club - Playa Del Carmen, Mexico
Hot Since 82 at The BPM Festival 2016.
Since its inception in 2008, The BPM Festival - “Bartenders, Promoters, Managers” - has become a must-go-to event for all dance music lovers; and the best excuse ever for a Caribbean holiday! This year’s festival took place on January 8-17 in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and it was 10 days of (mostly) sun and quality music from some of the finest in the industry.
Whilst he's no stranger to Mexican shores, 2016 saw Hot Since 82 host his own BPM showcase, bringing his record label Knee Deep in Sound to the festival for the first time.
Although heavy rain hit the usually sunshine filled Mexico, the show must go on! A swift change in plan, set-times and venue saw Knee Deep in Sound join forces with Anja Schneider's Mobilee Records label - also victims of a water-logged locale - and the all-star line-up kept heads and hands up high and raving at favoured festival beach club, Blue Parrot.
It was a load of fun and pure b2b genius; watch label bosses Hot Since 82 and Anja Schneider go effortlessly b2b, see Heidi hit the decks with Josh Wink and don’t miss Santé, Sidney Charles, Denney and Nick Curly go head-to-head and b2b2b2b!
