After Chad Wild Clay made I'm Trapped Inside a Giant Bag for 24 HOURS (I Pretend to Sleep to Escape Project Zorgo Hackers), Vy Qwaint created HACKER GIRL UNMASKED in NINJA BATTLE ROYALE In Real Life (Rescue Chad in Bag from Project Zorgo), and Daniel uploaded SHE WON'T WAKE UP! I Rescue Hacker Girl PZ4 from Project Zorgo Virus on the Exposing Project Zorgo YouTube channel, the CWC team were tricked and Project Zorgo framed PZ4 and Vy Qwaint are put into prison. Chad & Daniel broke them out of the prison escape room like they did in minecraft once by crawling through hidden underground tunnels. Chad Wild Clay explores Project Zorgo headquarters to find video evidence proving their innocence but is caught by hackers while playing fortnite and asked to drink a sleeping virus that looks like jelly. After the hackers have Chad act out a funny skit while he is pretending to sleep, like the satire Weekend At Bernies, they put him inside a giant bag. Chad was rescued by his friends and they gave the footage to the police officer. Now PZ4 is ready for an unmasking but challenges team CWC to a hide and seek challenge. Geoff Leads a Teaching Tour of the Greening the Desert Site
To learn more about permaculture watch the Permaculture Masterclass, a 4-part documentary-style film, here:
The Greening the Desert Project ( started about 11 years ago, and it looked like the other bare blocks around the area. Geoff and Nadia purchased the land, created a society, and gave the land to the society. There was no funding, so everything advanced slowly. With each new success came a new stream of funding. Course by course, they volunteered, and the site got off the ground, so much so that funding eventually came from LUSH ( Ultimately, Mulsim Aid Australia ( began funding the project and made it a focal point of its sustainable development program.
In this way, GTD started off in the opposite direction of most aid projects. Most start with a lot of money, look very good the day they open, and dwindle away over the next ten years. Ten years ago, GTD looked terrible and had no money. But, every year more people came. With increased results, the funding increased. After about five years, local interest grew. Last year the site finally opened, and now Jordan’s Ministry of Agriculture as well as local schools and other interests are taking the courses.
Two aspects of the living system make all the difference: nitrogen-fixing trees that can be coppiced and practical water catchment systems. The trees build the soil. Each year, they are cut for the winter, and by April, they’ve regrown to provide shade. The organic matter from the annual trim feeds the soil. As for the water, by design, everything that comes onto the site, the limited rainfall as well as what people use, is soaked into the soil. These two valuable puzzle pieces provided the pathway into diversity.
Wicking beds are throughout the site. They are the most efficient gardens in terms of water usage because they are watered from below, with no risk of evaporation. Worm beds are another means of fertility, with tens of thousands of worms being feed food scraps so that they can supply both liquid and solid fertilizer.
But, the real engine of fertility on site is the chicken tractor. It makes more fertilizer than any other element, all the while producing eggs and some chicken meat. Every week, manured mulch (1/3 cubic meter) is taken from under the roost and piled in the chicken coop with goat/sheep manure (1/3 cubic meter) and food scraps (1/3 cubic meter). During the week, the chickens scratch it all apart. Then, the cycle repeats, with the old pile moving further down the chicken coop and a new pile forming. Once in motion, this system produces a cubic meter of compost a week, on just 3000 square meters of land, only 2000 of which is growing space. That seriously changes the soil fertility in a short time.
The most important earthwork/water harvesting features on the site are the three swales. The longest reaches from the lowest point on the highest boundary and extends across the site. These don’t let any water runoff, whether it’s rain or irrigation.
Reed beds are another vital water conservation system, particularly for homes. The plants clean greywater from sinks and showers then that water can irrigate fruit trees. Sixty people on site have been using the showers for two weeks now, so that’s a lot of water going to the gardens to grow food.
Electricity begins with gallium selenium solar panels on the roof, and they feed into nickel-iron batteries that can last up to 100 years. A Dutch invertor takes the electricity and brings it up to the mains power, converting the energy into something that won’t damage appliances (for more info visit:
The building is built with standard concrete forms and pillars because that’s what people here trust. However, the walls on the west and south sides are made from straw bale while the eastern and northern walls are constructed from mudbricks. All of the internal walls are mudbrick, and all of the upstairs walls are straw bale. The mudbricks have thermal mass that, kept out the sun, remain cool, functioning like a natural air conditioner. On the other side of the house, the straw bale is a great insulator against the sun, which is particularly troublesome in the afternoon, on the western walls. The trees around the building are also cut seasonally, allowing more sun in during the winter and providing increasing shade during the summer.

Surviving Alone in Alaska
Heimo Korth is the last man standing in 19 million acres of Alaskan wilderness. His neighbors are polar bears and caribous. Say good bye to civilization and see how they do it in the arctic circle on the last frontier in America.
In 1980, Jimmy Carter established the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in the Alaskan Interior, cutting off 19 million acres of prime boreal wilderness from the mitts of fur trappers, oil tycoons, and would-be lodge owners alike. Only six families of white settlers were grandfathered in and allowed to keep cabins in the refuge—of them, only one still stays there year-round living off the land. His name is Heimo Korth, and he is basically the Omega Man of Americas Final Frontier.

Mouse - 17hh 2002 TB/Belgian Warmblood gelding looking for a new partner!
Introducing ‘Mouse’, a Camas Prairie Warmblood.
Born in June of 2002, a Belgian Thoroughbred cross, 17 H is offered for sale.
Schooled dressage mostly with a few Intro level dressage shows early in his career then schooled Training and 1st level throughout his career. His training is from Centered Riding and Classical Dressage with influences from Wendy Murdoch’s teachings. He offered jumping early on so I schooled him over smaller fences up to 3’ in arenas and in the field. He works well on the lunge line. He will lead or follow on the trail and goes through rough footing well. He’s been hobbled. He’s opened gates, dragged tarps and tree branches. He’s pulled small sleds with screaming children up the road in the snow. Goes over bridges, stands on pedestals, jumps barrels. Tracks up nicely at the walk, with a good trot and canter. He is responsive to the seat and leg. Ridden in a dressage saddle with a 6” French link loose ring snaffle for most of his life but will step out under a western saddle as well. He has had some natural horsemanship ground work training so he’s easy to move around or send.
This is a horse that enjoys work and being handled. He gets interested and learns pretty quickly. That said, he does best with an experienced rider who can bring out his best. He has not been ridden by inexperienced riders without being on the lunge line.
Drops his head for the bridle or halter, loves being groomed and hosed down, stands well for the farrier (currently barefoot and good on pasture or in arenas but not on rocks), up to date on 6 way, worming and had his teeth done in July. Mouse is in good health and sound but has only been ridden infrequently for several years due to my health issues. This summer we got more consistent in August with 2/3 rides a week. There was a 3 week break in September before returning to work a few times a week until we filmed this video October 14th. Mouse has a good mind and some solid training behind him.
Asking $4500 to the right home. Mouse comes with his bridle, halter and misc. equipment. Potential for ‘93 WW bumper pull 3 horse slant to go with him. Tires are low mileage. $2300 separately or $2000 with Mouse. Beautiful custom made rolling tack trunk also offered. 36 x 36 inside. 49 tall-52 w/casters. $400. Pictures of the trailer and tack trunk available.
Mouse was to be with me forever but I find that I cannot offer him the work and care he deserves due to my physical issues. This is a horse you can build a relationship with. If you are looking for a steady horse with a mind to do pretty much anything and can provide a good home for Mouse, you might have found your match. He is located in Hot Springs, MT.

Беслан. Помни / Beslan. Remember (english & español subs)
- когда-то государство допустило ошибки, которые привели к беде;

Patti Smith: Pissing in a River, Live on Spinning on Air in The Greene Space
Singer, songwriter and poet Patti Smith opened an evening of music and poetry in The Greene Space by reading these lines from T.S. Eliot's poem, The Wasteland:
April is the cruelest month, breeding / Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing / Memory and desire, stirring.
We are going to speak of, this evening, the things that stir us, Smith said. The April 23 event, Mixing Memory and Desire: An Evening of Music, Poetry, Sound and Remembrance, was presented by WNYC's Spinning on Air and hosted by David Garland.
Smith was joined on stage by composer-musicians Jesse Paris Smith and Eric Hoegemeyer (of Brooklyn's Tree Laboratory). Their mission that evening: to honor the chaos and transformation of spring through performances of both original pieces and interpretations of works by Emily Dickinson, Walt Whitman, W.G. Sebald and more.

Feel free to share your own creepy story at WeirdDarkness.com, I might use it in a future episode! Now.. sit back, turn down the lights, and come with me into the Weird Darkness!
It all started with a bunch of footprints at a construction site. Or at least the modern-day fascination with “Bigfoot” did. Stories of hairy giants in the woods and wandering “wild men” had been a part of American lore for nearly two centuries by the time the nickname “Bigfoot” was coined in the late 1950s. But it was then, with the advent of television and the modern media, that chasing down giants in the woods became a national craze.
It was the spring of 1957 and a road construction project was underway near Bluff Creek in northern California. The project was run by a contractor named Ray Wallace and his brother, Wilbur. They hired thirty men that summer to work on the project and by late in the season, Wilbur Wallace reported that something had been throwing around some metal oil drums at the work site. When winter arrived that year, cold weather brought the work to a halt, even though only ten miles of road had been completed.
In early spring 1958, some odd tracks were discovered near the Mad River close to Korbel, California. Some of the locals believed they were bear tracks. As it happened, this was close to another work site that was managed by the Wallace brothers.
Later on that spring, work started up again on the road near Bluff Creek. A number of new men were hired, including Jerry Crew, who drove more than two hours each weekend so he could be home with his family. Ten more miles of road were constructed, angling up across the face of a nearby mountain. On August 3, 1958, Wilbur Wallace stated that something threw a seven-hundred-pound spare tire to the bottom of a deep gully near the work site. This incident was reported later in the month, after the discovery of the footprints.
On August 27, Jerry Crew arrived for work early in the morning and found giant, manlike footprints pressed into the dirt all around his bulldozer. He was at first upset by the discovery, thinking that someone was playing a practical joke on him, but then he decided to report what he found to Wilbur Wallace. At this point, the footprints had not been made public. That occurred on September 21, when Mrs. Jess Bemis, the wife of one of the Bluff Creek work crew, wrote a letter to Andrew Genzoli, the editor of a local newspaper. Genzoli published her husband's Big Foot story and caught the attention of others in the area. One of these was Betty Allen, a newspaper reporter who suggested in a late September column that plaster casts should be made of the footprints. She had already talked to local Native Americans and interviewed residents about hairy giants in the area. She convinced Genzoli to run other stories and letters about Bigfoot. This would be the beginning of a story that would capture the imagination of America.
On October 1 and 2, Jerry Crew discovered more tracks, very similar to the first ones. In response to the new discovery, two workers quit and Wilbur Wallace allegedly introduced his brother Ray to the situation for the first time, bringing him out to show him the tracks. On the day after the last tracks were found, Jerry Crew made plaster casts of the footprints, with help from his friend Bob Titmus and reporter Betty Allen. He was irritated that people were making fun of him and wanted to offer the casts as evidence that he wasn’t making the whole thing up. On October 5, Andrew Genzoli published his now-famous story about Bigfoot. It was picked up worldwide by the wire services, and soon the term was being used in general conversation.

More about Heart of Darkness:
Heart of Darkness is a novella written by Joseph Conrad. Before its 1903 publication, it appeared as a three-part series (1899) in Blackwood's Magazine. It was classified by the Modern Library website editors as one of the 100 best novels and part of the Western canon. The story centres on Charles Marlow, who narrates most of the book. He is an Englishman who takes a foreign assignment from a Belgian trading company as a river-boat captain in Africa. Heart of Darkness exposes the dark side of European colonization while exploring the three levels of darkness that the protagonist, Marlow, encounters: the darkness of the Congo wilderness, the darkness of the Europeans' cruel treatment of the African natives, and the unfathomable darkness within every human being for committing heinous acts of evil. Although Conrad does not give the name of the river, at the time of writing the Congo Free State, the location of the large and important Congo River, was a private colony of Belgium's King Leopold II. In the story, Marlow is employed to transport ivory downriver. However, his more pressing assignment is to return Kurtz, another ivory trader, to civilization, in a cover-up. Kurtz has a reputation throughout the region. (Summary adapted from from Wikipedia.org)
