Harmondsworth Barn 25.08.13
Harmondsworth Barn was rescued by English Heritage after years of neglect, this Grade I listed barn ranks alongside the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey for its exceptional architectural and historic interest. Dubbed by the late poet laureate and heritage campaigner Sir John Betjeman as the Cathedral of Middlesex, Built in 1426 by Winchester College as part of its manor farm at Harmondsworth, the oak-framed barn is an outstanding example of medieval carpentry and contains one of the most intact interiors of its era. At nearly 60 metres long, 12 metres wide and 11 metres tall, with 13 massive oak trusses holding up the roof, both its size and aisles evoke the space and shape of a cathedral.

The 23rd April 2009 and the 'Oliver Cromwell' passes through Ingatestone Station as it travels along the main line from London to Norwich and back. A truely awe-inspiring sight and a wonderful view into the power and romanticism of a bygone age.

Since 1932, Crescent Ridge Dairy has been delivering small batch milk and quality provisions to families throughout Massachusetts. Ever since Malby Parrish made the first rounds in his trusty 1928 Chevrolet milk truck, folks have been looking forward to seeing the Crescent Ridge Milkman come around the corner each week. Over the years, as Crescent Ridge grew and our delivery routes expanded, we decided that—since we were making the trip anyway—why not deliver some weekly staples and grocery items, as well, to help make our customers' lives a bit easier in general.
