Laser Tag After Dark at Laser Quest Woking
Laser Tag isn't just for childrens' Parties. After dark, with the kids tucked up in bed, a committed hardcore of adult players congregate and battle until the early hours. There's no hiding in the shadows; this is up close and personal. In the years since 1989, when Laser Quest first began, a competitive style has evolved that is unforgiving and fast.
This was a test shoot to see if it's practical to shoot in such a dark environment, and to capture the frenetic mood of the tournament. Ultimately, we'd like to produce a feature length documentary, retracing the history of Laser Tag in the UK, looking back at the various systems, and featuring interviews of the pivotal people in the Laser Tag world. If you know anything or anyone that might be of interest, please let us know. And if you'd like to see a proper film, please like, share, and comment your enthusiasm, and perhaps we can get it made.
Thanks to Trixxy & everyone at Laser Quest Woking for their hospitality.

Like and subscribe if you enjoyed ^-^

Woking Hawker Hunter XL623 removed from its pole 'Time Lapse' video
See also Video 2
This 'Time Lapse' Video shows the Woking Hawker Hunter XL623 being removed from its position on a pole outside the Big Apple centre. This was because it had become unsafe and there was a very real chance something could fall off it. It will now be refurbished and a new home will be found for it, hopefully near the Hawker factory in Kingston where it was manufactured in 1958.
HAWKER HUNTER T.7 XL623 HISTORY
Manufactured as a Hunter T Mark 7 in 1958-59 as part of a production batch of 45 aircraft by Hawker Aircraft Ltd at Kingston-upon-Thames. It first flew on 17/01/1959 piloted by F/Lt Gole at Dunsfold. It saw active service with the RAF 1959 to 1976 and around 1982 went to RAF Cosford, for ground instructional training.
In 1996 it was road transported to Woking and mounted on pole outside the new 'H G Wells ‘The Planets' leisure centre and painted in a mainly purple colour scheme. During April 1998 it was repainted all-silver. At some point after this The Planets closed down and the council had to reluctantly took over responsibility for the aircraft.

Lyrics:
Let's take a walk in the jungle.
Walking in the jungle. Walking in the jungle.
We're not afraid. We're not afraid.
Walking in the jungle. Walking in the jungle. We're not afraid. We're not afraid.
One step. Two steps. Three steps forward.
One step. Two steps. Three steps back.
Stop. Listen. What's that?
It's a frog!
We're not afraid!
Let's stomp.
Stomping in the jungle. Stomping in the jungle. We're not afraid. We're not afraid.
Stomping in the jungle. Stomping in the jungle. We're not afraid. We're not afraid.
One step. Two steps. Three steps forward.
One step. Two steps. Three steps back.
Stop. Listen. What's that?
It's a monkey!
We're not afraid!
Let's jump.
Jumping in the jungle. Jumping in the jungle. We're not afraid. We're not afraid.
Jumping in the jungle. Jumping in the jungle. We're not afraid. We're not afraid.
One step. Two steps. Three steps forward.
One step. Two steps. Three steps back.
Stop. Listen. What's that?
It's a toucan!
We're not afraid!
Let's skip.
Skipping in the jungle. Skipping in the jungle. We're not afraid. We're not afraid.
Skipping in the jungle. Skipping in the jungle. We're not afraid. We're not afraid.
One step. Two steps. Three steps forward.
One step. Two steps. Three steps back.
Stop. Listen. What's that?
It's a tiger!
