Stopped by The Big Banana on the way to the Brisbane road trip. This place is beautiful and touristy. It was super packed for the week day excursion so I am assuming it is more packed during weekends. This place smells like banana everywhere and you find everything made up of banana. I loved it and I recommend for stop here if you are passing by.
I had to cut off some good shots cause my friend requested to be excluded from the video.

TOBAGGAN RIDE CRASH | BIG BANANA | COFFS HARBOUR, NSW. AUSTRALIA

Ok, we finally decided to hit the road and see some of Australia. Mind you, Australia is just as big or even bigger then America. We live in New South Wales and there are 7 others states in this country. Mind you some states can take up to 26 hours to get through. When we decided to take this trip we had no real plans.
Our first stop was 2 hours away from our home city, Port Macquarie. The Big Banana is a popular tourist attraction with food, The Big Banana, Rides and the infamous “Tobaggan Ride”. We purchased our $6 tickets and came up with a game plan. I would ride in my own Tobaggan and Riley and John would ride in one behind me.
Boy oh boy was that the biggest mistake ever!!! In the video I realized I kept telling them they were going to hit me so slow down, little did I know, before the ride was over they would actually crash into me. The looks on their faces and their delayed reactions were hilarious. Now, the speed they hit me was pretty fast and my lower back is still in pain. (The same place i had physical therapy in after we had a car accident last year.) BUT, it was all fun, other then that incident.
If you visit and go on this ride, make sure that you pay attention to all the people in front and behind you because they can slow down and speed up at their own leasure.
Check back tomorrow to see where we end up as we continue this family road trip across Australia. It’s not off to the best start but these are memories that will last us a lifetime!!!

Just for Australia day comes this Special video about the Big Bananas history mainly focusing on the long forgotten monorail and its bunyip. in the video i mentioned that the bunyip was a lizard like creature but their are many interpretations and i mainly focus on the one that was at the big Banana.
