let's kick this mob out
From LETS GET TIGHT - 2017 cd from Dave Graney and Clare Moore
When Scott Morrison gave a press conference for some newly devised way to take away any glimmer of hope for asylum seekers or refugees seeking asylum in Australia he announced that the government was taking the sugar off of the table. (He loves folksy sayings seemingly born from scenes of permanently irritated domesticity. Another favourite being the government has wiped it's face and gotten on with the job....) Written during the 2016 Australian election but still very topical. A driving latin beat from Clare Moore and guitars and bass from Dave Graney. A hopeful song. LET'S KICK THIS MOB OUT!
Released to itunes Nov 18th
