To The Pub - Buskins at the Donkey and Buskins
You don’t need a reason to go to the pub, but if you do here’s a few as the Donkey & Buskins plays host to a birthday, a game of craps and a round of general knowledge – Why is the pub called the Donkey & Buskins?

At the heart of many communities, the pub brings people together from all walks of life.
From those who enjoy a quiet pint or a game of darts, through to celebrating weddings and sharing memories of friends and family – every pub has a tale to tell and here they are.
Championed by Greene King IPA, ‘To The Pub’ is a series of 50 pubs telling their own stories in their own words. Each film independently directed by the landlords, their staff and the locals that visit regularly. Capturing those unique moments we all recognise and love about our nation’s pubs.
We hope you enjoy the films as much as we do. Cheers.
You can visit the Donkey and Buskins in person at High Road, Layer-De-La-Haye, Colchester, Essex CO2 0HU
Greene King IPA is our flagship beer, born and brewed in Bury St Edmunds.
IPA stands for India Pale Ale, a style of ale brewed for export during the time of the Indian Raj (c. 1856). IPA was brewed with an unusually high volume of hops so they could preserve the ale during the long voyage to India. Funnily enough, though, our ale never made it to India. Perhaps we just didn't want to see it leave.
Many people are involved in bringing you Greene King IPA – from the farmers in the fields to the brewers back at the brewery and the landlords in the cellars. We're lucky to be surrounded by people who are passionate about what we do – and the quality of beers we craft together.

The Real Raj, Steve Picken and Kelly at the Platform Tavern
7. April 2013, a sunny afternoon in Southampton with fantastic music. Sorry you don't see Kelly with the Cello, but I was just a bit too close to get them all together on the shot.

Jeb Does Charlie Bit My Finger
I had to do it! 'Charlie Bit My Finger' by Jeb.
TRIVIA:
A lot of effort (well, a bit) went into re-creating this timeless YouTube favourite. Watch the original and then watch this, you'll see. We're just happy that the real Charlie didn't get bitch slapped by his brother. Although apparently he did push him down the stairs later that day. Sadly, that wasn't caught on camera.

Jeb's been cluttering up the internet with his animated nonsense since 2005. Along the way he's won numerous awards including the Mobile and Internet TV Comedy Award at MIPCOM in Cannes where he beat Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat, Ali G etc) to the gong. He's proved time and again that almost nothing is within his capabilities, be it cookery shows, the X Factor, music videos, caring for his cat, telling jokes, masquerading as a priest, presenting children's television, enjoying porn, re-wiring Donald Trump, conceptualising Marvel superheros, starring in TV commercials, doing science with Brian Cox, settling the issue of gun control, presenting Top Gear, interviewing celebrities or impersonating Miley Cyrus and Crazy Frog.
Right, I wrote all that 'cos some web page told me it'd help get views and subscribers. So I should be as big as Pewdiepie by Monday, right?
OK, well... I'm off to the pub.
