Westford Massachusetts Board of Selectmen withdraw 2nd Amendment Infringing ByLaw Proposal
February 20, 2013 - Westford, Massachusetts - Board of Selectmen withdraw a proposed ByLaw (Article 30) which would have egregiously infringed the 2nd Amendment to United States Constitution. They have saved their town much grief, and money lost to the inevitable lawsuits which would've ensued, should enough voters think this was remotely a good idea.
Thanks to the many people who showed up, obviously in support of Liberty!
Some of the listed organizations are very recently formed in response to the madness of Gun Control (aka VICTIM DISARMAMENT) raising its ugly head in America these days.

Apparently, there is a Plan B, to try to push this gun ban through IN SPITE OF THIS REBUKE. This is from Robert Jeffries who said he just wanted to have a conversation at that huge meeting. That was the PERFECT opportunity to have that conversation. People from both sides had brought their prepared material, and there were probably countless others who wanted to speak, as well. And, THE PRESS WAS THERE.
I guess he wants a private conversation talking to himself, even though I'm sure the main-stream media would've covered for him. He still couldn't do it! To me this means he KNOWS that he has NO ARGUMENT against the 2nd Amendment. Given that Jeffries said that, and then (along with the Chairman) adjourned the meeting immediately is PROOF that THEY DON'T WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU. The people of Westford must stay vigilant and watch out for any sneaky moves from these leaders.
It is my sincere opinion that some of these people think that YOU WORK FOR THEM, rather than any idea that THEY WORK FOR YOU!

Bridge of Flowers - Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts
We visited the beautiful Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts on a perfect fall day. The abandoned trolley line bridge was transformed into a garden pathway that the town’s gardeners and volunteers have maintained for more than 80 years. A must see if you are ever in the area!

Special Spiritual and Cultural events so called, Pow-wow.
A pow-wow (also powwow or pow wow or pau wau) is a gathering of North America's Native people. The word derives from the Narragansett word powwaw, meaning spiritual leader.
A modern pow-wow is a specific type of event where both Native American and non-Native American people meet to dance, sing, socialize, and honor American Indian culture. There is generally a dancing competition, often with significant prize money awarded. Pow-wows vary in length from one day session of 5 to 6 hours to three days. Major pow-wows or pow-wows called for a special occasion can be up to one week long.
The term also has been used to describe any gathering of Native Americans of any tribe, and as such is occasionally heard in older Western movies. The word has also been used to refer to a meeting, especially a meeting of powerful people such as officers in the military. However, such use can also be viewed as disrespectful to Native culture.
Most of the various types of dances performed at a pow-wow are descended from the dances of the Plains tribes of Canada and the United States. Besides those for the opening and closing of a pow-wow session, the most common is the intertribal, where a drum will sing a song and anyone who wants to can come and dance. Similar dances are the round dance; crow hop when performed by a northern drum or a horse stealing song by a southern drum; there is also double beat, sneakup and, for Women's Traditional and Jingle, sidestep. Each of these songs have a different step to be used during them, but are open for dancers of any style.

In 1812, Long Island Sound, one of the nation’s most historic estuaries, was a crossroads of trade and agriculture. Seeds from around the globe were brought to its shores and ships brought goods produced in the region out to the world. The area was, and continues to be, renowned for the abundance of goods it produces. From its many farms and wineries to its thriving seafood industry, Long Island Sound has become synonymous with the production of fresh, tasty food and drink. This program will explore the relationship between Long Island Sound and the people that inhabit it, specifically focusing on how the fishing and agricultural industries have transformed the environment.
