CAVE EXCURSION IN CABARETE, OUTSIDE OF SOSUA
Hey guys! I'm Cerise! I'm from Toronto, Canada, but I moved here to Sosua in the beautiful Dominican Republic to enjoy the rest of my life in the tropics... that's the plan for now anyway :)
I truly enjoy sharing my DR life with you all, and having you see my life through a camera lens.
My boyfriend's name is Gino. I met him here in the DR. He is Dominican born. He is in many of my videos and he also doesn't mind sharing his culture, his town, his home, and his life.
Want to meet with Cerise and Gino when you are in town? Awesome! Please contact us ceriseandgino@gmail.com

Many people want to visit Sosua solo, with a partner or their family. Their passports are ready, their research is done, so what's holding them back? Is it fear or a lack of information to make the final step.
It is a big move, and quite often for many people fear cripples their mind and prevents them from making the jump!
Which, eventually stunts the growth of a person's life.
Don't regret later what you could have done now. Come on down to the Dominican Republic and live your tropical lifestyle dreams.
Why waste anymore time? One day in early 2018 I woke up and said to my son Tyre, why am I waking up in this cold weather everyday
when I can be living in the tropics running a business and continue to live my best life?
Tyre said Mom, you're right, I'm grown now, I have a great career, I am a father myself, and Your oldest has been moved out long ago, so go follow your calling. I love you, and I will miss you, but you have to go and at least see what it's like.
I came to the DR for two weeks. Went back to Toronto for a few weeks, then book a flight back and never returned to Canada. At least not yet. July 16th will be a year.
Since I've been here I have settled down with an awesome love who is a great companion and soul mate. His name is Gino!
I co-opened 2 businesses and also closed them. The details are in my videos.
Also, moving two times, from Sosua then back again, was interesting, but necessary. It gave me a chance to live in and experience the countryside of the North coast, in Bella Vista.
Plus it gave me deep insight into looking for an apartment here on the North Coast. As in what to look for, what bang I can get for my buck, going rate of rent and what places offer the best deals in and around Sosua.
I can help you find a rental for short or long term stay, house to rent or buy, and also land to rent or buy, in and around the Sosua area. My partner, Gino helps me get around, and knows the people and area of Sosua very well.
If you have already found a spot and you want us to visit it for you to check things out, we can certainly do that too. We will check out the area the place is located, the pros and cons, and also how far or close it is to things that are important to you.
In regards to land, you can purchase huge lots, or small ones. There is land in the city centre of Sosua where you will meet many locals, tourists and expats, plus enjoy the beach life, restaurants, shops and more. Or there is land in the mountains where you can find many gorgeous river beds and natural fruit trees with rows and rows of palm trees which provide an abundance of tropical breeze on the hot days.
~ Email us a list of your wishes and we will do our best to find you the best place possible within your budget.

We also provide day excursions to the beautiful rivers in the countryside, nestled up in the mountains where you can enjoy:
CLAY MASK: You can have a clay mask for face, body and blemishes. It is believed to help with healing and smoothing fine lines from maturity, scars and acne.
PEBBLE EXFOLIATION: River rocks are infused with fresh water and flowing energy. When you exfoliate with these tiny little stones, you will not only cleanse your skin of dead cells, but you will also infuse your top layer of skin with minerals that encourage healing, invigorate the mind and inspire the soul.
HEAVY STONE THERAPY: Bad posture, uncomfortable sitting, bad back, sore muscles? Heavy Stone Therapy is a technique used to help you regain balance, comfort and good posture.
FISH FOOT THERAPY: Come and sit on the river bank and have the tiny fish swim up to you as they kiss your feet. Haha, well that's what it feel like, but really they cleanse the dead skin cells from your feet to help promote smooth skin and decrease bad odours.
To book your excursion today please contact Cerise (829) 702-7726 or email cerisefairfax@gmail.com
Many emails arrive, so please let us know your name and where you are from.

Discovering hidden caves in the Dominican Republic 2012
When traveling abroad to places there are many hidden treasures and things to do while your there. Here is a video of me in the jungle by a hidden cave that you can swim in but only by a local person can take you there to discover things like this and usually you pay them. You will be so happy to have done this to add to a more quality experience when traveling. Ask local people what's to do or see. Here is my video live in the Dominican Republic close to cabarete beach in the north. I was taken to a village way in jungle then to see several hidden caves. I trekked in them. It's so interesting. This tour was several hours for $12 and well worth it. Enjoy

Monkey Jungle Zip Line, Sosua Cabarete, Dominican Republic
Riding the zip line at Monkey Jungle in El Choco Dominican Republic (between Sosua and Cabarete) after feeding the squirrel monkeys and finishing with a 50 ft plunge into a cave! Thanks to our guides Usher and Lionel for a super job and Eric Tours for the transport and booking. Thanks to fellow zip line adventurers Bakul, Randy and their families. Not only is the zip lining fun, 100% of your admission price is used to fund the onsite dental/medical clinic and pharmacy that provides free medical services to the local Dominican population.
