Rame Head Heritage Coast / Spectacular Walk from Plymouth
I have 8h and 16 miles long walk from Plymouth to St Michael's Chapel and back.
My journey starts from Plymouth ferry to Cremyll. From Cremyll I pass Mount Edgcumbe Folly and go to the Kingsand village where I visit the local cafe and try local Apple cake with tea. From Kingsand I pass Rame Head Heritage and go to the St Michael's Chapel which is approximately 1000 years old.
I go back to Cremyll by passing Rame and visiting local Rame Church.

Cawsand Boat Trip
My wife and I were invited by friends to take a trip on their boat to Cawsand, starting at the Torpoint Mosquito Sailing Club.
Cawsand and Kingsand are twin villages in southeast Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The village is situated on the Rame Peninsula and is in the parish of Maker-with-Rame.
Cawsand overlooks Plymouth Sound and adjoins Kingsand, formerly on the border of Devon and Cornwall.
Once a renowned smuggling centre, Cawsand is within Mount Edgcumbe Country Park. There are frequent bus and ferry services to the city of Plymouth which is three miles to the north across Plymouth Sound. There is also a ferry service in the summer from Cawsand beach to Plymouth Hoe.
The Rame Peninsula is sometimes known as being in the Forgotten Corner of Cornwall.
Cremyll
Cremyll /ˈkrɛməl/ is a small coastal village in south-east Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. Cremyll is on the Rame Peninsula facing Plymouth Sound. It is situated close to Plymouth, about 9 miles by road or 1/2 a mile by boat from Plymouth.
There has been a ferry at Cremyll since the Saxons' arrival in the eighth century and it was a link in the main southern route into Cornwall until the 1830s. There was a larger community here called West Stonehouse until it was burnt by the French in 1350. In medieval times the ferry was part of the manor of Stone-House, held by the Valletorts.
The Cornish side of Plymouth Sound was not always Cornish. It was incorporated into Anglo-Saxon territory in 705 AD in order to secure both banks of the estuary against, mainly Viking, raids. An area of the Rame peninsula remained as part of Devon until 1844, when it was made part of Cornwall. Today, however, Mount Edgcumbe and the waterfront settlement of Cremyll are emphatically Cornish. They stand on the most easterly extension of the Rame Peninsula, known with ironic pride by local people as the 'Forgotten Corner'.
Today the Cremyll Ferry carries foot passengers and cyclists from Cremyll to Plymouth. Cremyll is on the South West Coast Path which is the longest of the waymarked long-distance footpaths in England.
In the village is The Edgcumbe Arms, which dates back to the 18th century; it was destroyed by fire and rebuilt in 1995.
The main entrance to Mount Edgcumbe House is in Cremyll. Mount Edgcumbe House is a stately home and a Grade II listed building, whilst the gardens are listed as Grade I in the Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in England. Cremyll has a Cornwall Council run pay-and-display car park, with about 50 spaces, mainly there for visitors to Mount Edgcumbe Country Park.

Plymouth, Cawsand and Kingsand, New Year 2013/14
Our New Year break took us to Plymouth again to visit relatives. Between storms we managed to make a trip out to Cawsand and Kingsand and also took in Mount Edgcumbe House and Gardens. This is the edited highlights after removing all the 'guilty parties'. The film starts with us being trapped in our Hotel room being battered by high winds and heavy rain, the next day turned out fine and sunny. However that evening which happened to be New Years Eve was horrendous.
The random footage of the Austin Seven is included as they are rarely seen and I have memories of them from my childhood.
