Yesterday was a crazy travel day heading from Alberton to Point Prim but one of my favorite stops was without a doubt the Belfast Corn Maze/Chuckwagon Farm Market​ down East. They've done an amazing job to this maze and are open till 7pm! Be sure to check em out!

Pierre Cloutier Dream of a Lifetime....Travelling Across Canada with Horses

Pierre Cloutier is travelling across Canada with his two Belgian horses and his dog. He has two covered wagons, which he built himself. Fully equipped with a solar power and generator to supply power to his signal and 4way lights, also satellite radio. Pierre left St. Barnaby , Quebec and is going to British Columbia. He is relying on the generosity of any farm that can provide shelter and a place to rest his horses along the way. A man with a dream ! Good Luck Pierre !

The Canadians: John Ware

John Ware, cowboy, rancher (born 1845 near Georgetown, SC; died 13 September 1905 near Brooks, Alberta). John Ware was born a slave on a cotton plantation and apparently grew up on a small ranch in northern Texas, although the historical record of his life is far from clear. He gained his freedom at the close of the American Civil War (1865) and drifted west, eventually settling in Alberta where he would start his own ranch.
