According to tradition, the Russian Orthodox Church is what came of a community of believers founded by the apostle Andrew, who visited Scythia and Greece, along the northern part of the Black Sea. According to the tradition, while on his missionary journeys, Andrew eventually reached Kiev, the current home of St. Andrew’s Cathedral. Later, Princess Olga of Kiev converted to Christianity, and eventually her grandson, Vladimir the Great, made Byzantine Rite Christianity the official religion in Kiev. This marked the birth of what became the Russian Orthodox Church, part of the Eastern Orthodox Church.
Like other Orthodox churches, the Russian Orthodox Church is trinitarian, believes the Bible to be the Word of God, and teaches that Jesus is God the Son. In these matters, the Russian Orthodox Church aligns with Scripture. However, their doctrine has much more in common with Roman Catholicism than with evangelical Christianity. Russian Orthodox services are liturgical and filled with symbolism. Mary has a special place in Russian Orthodoxy as the Mother of God. The Russian Orthodox Church promotes the use of icons (sacred images) and teaches that salvation is conferred through the observance of the sacraments—the doctrine of salvation by grace through faith alone is not taught in Russian Orthodoxy. Members of the Russian Orthodox Church regard the decisions of their church councils to be infallible.

St Andrew UOC Divine Liturgy 2012-12-09
The Divine Liturgy as celebrated at St Andrew's Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Boston, MA on December 9, 2012. The parishioners of St Michael UOC were invited to St Andrew's to celebrate their feast day in worship and fellowship. The combined choirs sang beautifully and the sense of camaraderie filled all our hearts with joy.
After the Liturgy we all joined together in prayer and thanksgiving for the shared history of the parishes with a wonderful feast prepared by Chef Michael and his staff in honor of St Andrew the First-Called Apostle.
My apologies for the abrupt transition around the 46:07 mark. I forgot to make space on the memory card before recording that day.
Decretum Gelasianum.

The Apostle Paul's Burial Place l'apostolo paolo luogo di sepoltura
Saint Paul's Cathedral Outside The Walls in Rome, Italy is according to tradition the burial place of the Apostle Paul. Paul's stone coffin was confirmed to be under the main altar in the basilica in 2006, and not long after carbon dating tests were performed on the contents inside the coffin which dated back to the 1st century confirming what tradition has been saying for almost 2000 years. Paul was born Saul of Tarsus who had risen in Judaism and was the chief persecutor of Christians when he was converted on the road to Damascus when Jesus appeared to him. He wrote letters which make up close to half of the New Testament Scriptures, and other than the resurrection of Jesus, his conversion and influence is considered by many to be one of two pillars the Church of Jesus Christ is built upon. Relics found in this church include Saint Paul's staff, a piece of the cross Jesus was crucified upon, and bones from Timothy, Andrew, Bartholomew and Saint Matthew. l'apostolo paolo luogo di sepoltura
