TRAILER - GB Team Climber Orrin Coley at Forest Rock
GB climber Orrin Coley has been stomping high grade boulders at his local crags for a while now so we thought we'd best go out and shoot with him. He showed us a few really cool routes and was able to make the second ascent of a mega 8a+ line with some amazingly burly moves.
Orrin is heading out all across the world competing in the world cups and I'm certain we will be seeing some big numbers from him this year! I'm sure he will bring use some of his mad crimp crushing experience setting at The Climbing Station and The Climbing Unit.
If you enjoy this short teaser, make sure you like and share it so we can get some more cool stuff to give away. After all, Sharing's Caring!
Orrin is supported by Beyond Hope Climbing, Metolius Climbing, prAna and Evolv
Music, as ever, by the amazing DJ Buzzword

34046 & 6023 On The Devon Banks - The Royal Duchy & The Dartmouth Steam Railway - 2nd September 2018
Today's video comes as a double feature, as we see two steam locomotives at work on both the main line and a heritage line. We start off at Marlands, on the approach to Whiteball Tunnel, where we see Bulleid Pacific No.34046 'Braunton' (still running as 34052 'Lord Dowding') climbing nicely up Wellington Bank, as she hauls the first of two 'Royal Duchy' trains for this year, from Bristol to Par and back. A quick dash down the M5 and A38 brings us to Tigley, on one of the steepest sections of Rattery Bank. Having only hit the bottom of the climb at just over 40mph, as a result of being caught behind the preceding HST to Penzance, the crew would be in for a challenging time. So, instead of the hoped for gallop up the bank, we were treated to a good slog, as Braunton worked her way up the 1 in 52 gradient on this section of the climb, speed dropping down to a minimum of 13.4mph, before the gradients ease slightly just down the line.
Usually, we would chase the Duchy into Cornwall, however, we instead opted to head over to the Dartmouth Steam Railway, where King Class No.6023 'King Edward II' was in operation on the day's services. We start off the first of two shots at the classic location on the start of the climb up Goodrington Bank where, after negotiating what seems to be a speed restriction out of the station, we see the Blue King opening up as she ascends the first 1 in 71 section of the climb. The second shot sees her at Broadsands, running off the short section of 1 in 93 and onto the final 1 in 60 climb up to Churston.
After this, we headed west again to Hemerdon, in anticipation of Braunton's climb up the 1 in 42 gradient, with the return working of 'The Royal Duchy'. However, this was not to be, as news had circulated that 37668, which had brought the train down to Taunton from Bristol, was on its way down to Plymouth to takeover from Braunton back to Bristol, due to the fact that no coal had been delivered to St Blazey, the servicing point for the Bristol to Par runs. Braunton would over night at Laira and return the following day. Despite all this, I stayed on, as I wasn't going to turn down some Class 37 noise. Unfortunately, the light was rather poor when 37668 came up the bank and the shot is very grainy, so I haven't included it.
Filmed on a Panasonic VXF990 and Panasonic HS900 (Second Camera) with Pro Sound L92AA microphones.

GCR 50th Anniversary Of Closure Gala - All Go At Loughborough!!
In conjunction with my previous upload on the footplate of 70013 'Oliver Cromwell', I was as usual restricted to the activity around Loughborough Station. No time for a long write up on which loco's & trains, just enjoy the comings & goings in rapid order.
All filming done on Sunday 4th September which thankfully was dry!!
NOTE:
I have only just become aware of a YT video 'glitch' between 09.00 & 10.00 minutes where the audio is evident but no movement.
The original footage was fine so my apologies for whatever the cause.
