Brighton is a seaside resort on the south coast of England. Brighton is part of the ceremonial county of East Sussex, within the historic county of Sussex. Brighton's location has made it a popular destination for tourists, renowned for its diverse communities, quirky shopping areas, large cultural, music and arts scene.
Brighton lies between the South Downs and the English Channel to the north and south, respectively. The Sussex coast forms a wide, shallow bay between the headlands of Selsey Bill and Beachy Head; Brighton developed near the centre of this bay around a seasonal river, the Wellesbourne (or Whalesbone), which flowed from the South Downs above Patcham.
The Royal Pavilion is a former royal palace built as a home for the Prince Regent during the early 19th century. Other Indo-Saracenic buildings in Brighton include the Sassoon Mausoleum . Brighton Marine Palace and Pier (long known as the Palace Pier) opened in 1899. The West Pier was built in 1866 and is one of only two Grade I listed piers in the United Kingdom. The Brighton i360 observation tower opened on 4 August 2016. Brighton clocktower, built in 1888 for Queen Victoria's jubilee. Volk's Electric Railway runs along the inland edge of the beach from Brighton Pier to Black Rock and Brighton Marina. The Grand Hotel was built in 1864. The Brighton hotel bombing occurred there.

Brighton - The Clock Tower - Klukkuturn - Ferðalag
Brighton - Clock Tower - Jubilee Clock Tower - Brighton tower - City by the Sea - Litla London við ströndina - Ferðalag í Englandi - The tower is a free-standing clock tower in the centre of Brighton, part of the English city of Brighton and Hove. Built in 1888 in commemoration of Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee, the distinctive structure included innovative structural features and became a landmark in the popular and fashionable seaside resort.
Queen Victoria celebrated her Golden Jubilee in 1887, and many towns built Jubilee clock towers to commemorate the occasion. A local advertising contractor, James Willing, decided to commission one for Brighton. He donated £2,000. The town organised an architectural competition which was won by a London-based architect, John Johnson. The tower was completed at the start of 1888 and was unveiled on 20 January 1888 on Willing's 70th birthday. See more:
Lesa meira :

Homeless people being evicted from Brighthelm Church land in Brighton, UK
I missed the initial violence inflicted on these three homeless people when their bed, tent? and possessions were dragged out of the Brighthelm Community Centre and Church garden, in the centre of Brighton, but was not impressed with the bullying tactics of the three security men. They had even thrown their mobile phones into the waste bins!
