Squamish Nation with the North Shore municipalities, and other agencies are working together to create this unique, waterfront-oriented, multi-use and fully accessible greenway that will provide pedestrians, cyclists, inline skaters and people with wheeled mobility aids access across the entire North Shore. The Spirit Trail crossing through Mosquito Creek Marina will include a tunnel under the boat lift and a pedestrian bridge over the creek. Construction is planned November 2016 to Spring 2018. Over half of the trail is almost flat and easy; the rest - steep slopes, moderately rough trail, criss crossing the creek, trenches and so on. Safe time to go is when the water level is low in the creeks in mid to late summer.

Vancouver WALK: FALSE CREEK NORTH/STANLEY PARK SEAWALL Sunset Stroll from Yaletown Dock to Inukshuk
A nice sunset walk along the north side of the False Creek Seawall, starting from Yaletown Dock, to Sunset Beach and on to the Stanley Park Seawall path ending up at the iconic Inukshuk stone sculpture.
This was a long walk and I was getting tired, but it was well worth it in the end. Just look at that beautiful sunset glow along Beach Avenue. It had been overcast the whole day, but the sun decided to come out just as I was climbing those last steps under Burrard Bridge. And when I came through, I was rewarded with that glorious sunset view of English Bay. Perfect timing!
