Yabby Lake Vineyard sprang into public prominence when it made history by winning the coveted Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy for Best Red Wine. It was the first time in its 52 year history that the Jimmy Watson Trophy was awarded to a Pinot Noir - a Yabby Lake Block 1 Pinot Noir 2012.The Cellar Door and Restaurant opened only 2 years ago but is already recognised for its quality wine and food. Acclaimed chef Heston Blumenthal brought his family for lunch and Melbourne fine dining restaurant Vue de Monde held a food and wine tasting there recently.

Leave your car keys at home! We are located 300m from the calm waters of the Tyrone Foreshore and less than a 10 minute walk to Blairgowrie Cafes and IGA.
Freshly renovated, this beautiful, peaceful and practical holiday house has been completely renovated for families, couples or groups of friends to enjoy.
The single story, open plan 3 bedroom home has been decorated with all new furniture, bedding and linen. Our kitchen and dining area opens out onto an intimate deck and dining space, which overlooks the paved BBQ area, new 10 foot enclosed trampoline, kids swing set and kids outdoor eating setting. The flat and fenced backyard gardens make for a relaxing and safe place for the whole family to enjoy.
Features and Location Notes
Inside a comfy 6 seater couch is perfect for watching the 52 inch LED TV, playing the PS3 or watching a DVD.
There is no need to bring a thing as the bookshelves have novels, DVD's, magazines, games, music to listen to and plenty of films for the kids to watch. The coffee table has four generous draws jammed packed with toys, kids books, stickers and colouring books.
If you are keen to cook up a feast, make yourself at home in the new fully fitted kitchen with stainless steel appliances, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is a 6 seat dining table that opens out to accommodate 10. Or eleven, if you count the highchair.
There is tea, coffee and sugar in the pantry plus all the little things like oil, salt, vinegar and kitchen necessities like glad wrap, tea towels, kids dinnerware, cups and cutlery.
All 3 Bedrooms are fitted with built in robes, windows with flyscreens, new mattresses, new linen, warm winter blankets and lamps. A portacot and two sponge mattresses are onsite for little or extra visitors.
The laundry area houses a washing machine and dryer along with necessities like washing detergent, toilet paper, insect repellent and buckets and spades for the beach.
The sparkling bathroom includes full sized bath, vanity, bath mats and new hairdryer, all ready to help you clean up the kids after a day at the beach. A separate shower and separate toilet means everyone can get ready at the same time, all you need to bring along are towels.
There is ducted heating for winter stays and refrigerated air conditioner for the Summer.
We have off street parking for up to 4 cars and can also fit a boat under cover. The boat ramp is a very close drive and can be walked to in 5 or 6 minutes.

Our location is amazing. Located in a quiet pocket of Rye that borders Blairgowrie, it is a short safe 4 minute walk to the calm Tyrone Foreshore and only a 10 minute walk to the shops and cafés in Blairgowrie. We are not located near any caravan or camping areas, so beach access is safe and direct. If you do want to go for a drive, we are less than 3 minutes from the Rye shops, 7 minutes from the must visit Peninsula Hot Springs and 10 minutes from Sorrento and Portsea.
