How to properly remove a dandelion from your lawn
Learn how to properly remove a dandelion from your lawn to make sure it never grows back. Most people just rip them out with their hands but doing that doesnt remove the deep root from the lawn. This root then grows another dandilion and you have accomplished nothing. I use a special tool (you can use a small shovel) to remove the whole plant, root and all, and then show you the proven results.

Steve O'Donoghue wrote Dandelions about Arthur, his mother’s father. He joined up as a boy, lying about his age. He was a sort of yellow colour due to the mustard gas. He never talked about the war, except to say, I’ve seen things no man should have to see. Arthur was not keen on poppies being used to glorify war. A better image for him was the dandelion, its seeds blown away in the wind.

Rising Above Ego - How we project and mirror ourselves onto other people.
We can rise above our ego by recognizing doubt, fear, and duality in our lives, and making healthier choices. The Bible provides many examples on how we project and mirror ourselves onto other people. For example, Adam blamed Eve for eating from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, and Eve blamed the serpent. They didn't want to take responsibility for their choices because they were ashamed. Similarly, when we feel flawed, we tend to project those feelings on someone outside ourselves and blame them for making us feel that way, rather than owning and healing our own woundedness.
Doubts and our fears are our downfall because doubt and fear are ego-based, but Trust, on the other hand, is God-based.

STORYLINE:
US and Canadian troops in the mountains near Gardez in eastern Afghanistan have encountered no resistance as they carefully secured the region following intense fighting with the remnants of Taliban and al-Qaida forces this week.
Pictures from the region showed Canadian infantrymen searching the ruined enplacements of their opponents amid the rocks, now strewn with abandoned sleeping gear and empty ammunition casings.
Coalition troops attacked Al-Qaida positions in the mountains of eastern Afghanistan late this week in Operation Harpoon, which military headquarters officials said involved 500 Canadian and 100 US troops.
It is believed to be one of the biggest ground offensives by the Canadian Forces in recent decades.

2017 update. Despite many questions below, my front yard has almost ZERO dandelion. So this technique has been working very well for me.
How to burn the dandelion spores with a torch prior to removing them with a spade shovel. It is also called flame weeding.
This technique avoids spreading the spores, so increasing the number of dandelions.
You can use it before mowing or if you do not have the time to remove the root.
To get rid of the dandelion, with a thin shovel, you need to remove the root.
2013 was a very bad year with high density of dandelions.
