CRAZY JAPANESE NIGHTLIFE IN OSAKA | JAPAN
Osaka is known as the neon nightlife capital of Japan. It is a fun and vibrant city, which provides a great base for many day trips in Japan to places such as Nara, where free roaming deer walk the streets. Within Osaka, there is a plethora of things to see, eat and do, including the famous Dotonbori, which somewhat resembles a dystopian future, whilst on the other side of the city, Osaka Castle offers a glimpse into Osakas past.

This was our first international girls trip and we had a blast! We hit Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Seoul, and Hong Kong over the course of two weeks, so this the third video in a series of Asia trip vlogs. My sister Caitlin had been to Japan before, but this was my first time. I loved Osaka with it's electric foodie paradise vibes. We walked a ton and ate a lot of street food and local favorite dishes. We both love Japanese cuisine, and kobe beef and okonomiyaki are some of our faves.

Hamayaki was originally a type of fisherman’s cuisine: seafood unloaded fresh from the boat is grilled on the beach with simple seasoning, like salt or soy sauce. There are some izakayas that offer this sort of hamayaki-style seafood barbecue in Tokyo, mimicking its rustic atmosphere as well. Most of them serves ingredients fresh from the famous Tsukiji market or directly from fishing ports all over Japan at reasonable prices. You can enjoy cooking all sorts of food on the portable grill at your table and order side dishes, such as sushi or sashimi, too. The shellfish, such as turban shells, clams, scallops, and oysters are popular along with other seafood, such as squid and prawns. And there are other unique items…
