It won't be the last bike meeting I go to!!

RAF Red Arrows Air Display at Cleethorpes Festival of Flight + Army Red Devils June 2012
Video taken by Lynn and photos taken by me at the first Cleethorpes Festival of Flight Airshow in June 2012. Visiting aircraft at this free event included a Tucano, Hurricane, Hawker Nimrod II, The Red Hawks powered glider display team, a gyrocopter, a helicopter and the RAF Red Arrows aswell as the Army Red Devils parachute display team.

RAF Mildenhall, Suffolk, home to the 100th Air Refueling Wing and 352nd Special Operations Group of the USAF. Featuring, MC-130H, MC-130J, EC-130J, KC-135R, RC-135W Rivet Joint, C-17A, U-28A and CV-22B Osprey. Text details are on the video. This site perfectly sums up the role of the 100 ARW in Europe. Wind was a blustery South Easterly.

Royal Anglians march into Ely
THOUSANDS of people lined the streets of Ely on Wednesday to welcome home soldiers from the Royal Anglian Regiment.
About 200 Vikings, who have completed a six-month tour of Afghanistan's Helmand Province, marched into the market place, where the salute was taken by city mayor, Cllr Brian Ashton.
Led by the Minden Band, they marched triumphantly in the sunshine as crowds cheered and clapped.
The Royal Anglians have completed three sixth-month tours of Afghanistan and they marched through Ely to celebrate their freedom of the city, which the regiment has held since 1977.
Barnie Nolan, 487th Bomb Group Verteran returns to Station 137, Lavenham
Barnie Nolan who has come back to see us with his wife Sunny on several occasions over the years to revisit where he flew B24 Liberators and B17 Flying Fortresses with the USAF between 1944 and 1945 were here this week with their daughter Pam. Barnie flew 33 missions from here, Lavenham (Station 137) with The 487th Bomb Group (Heavy) and is an inspiration and a true hero.
