Bucharest, Romania: Winds of Change
More info about travel to Romania: Nicolae Ceaușescu took power in Romania in 1965, and through his 24-year dictatorship his ego ballooned. The culmination of his master plan was an immense palace with more than a thousand rooms, now the Palace of the Parliament. In late 1989, with winds of change sweeping the Eastern Bloc, armed revolution spread across Romania.

Top Attractions in Bucharest, Romania: 2017 Edition
If this is your first time visiting Bucharest, then the first thing you should know is that taxi scams are very wide in the city, and especially at the airport. Once you manage to arrive safely to the city the one attraction you should not miss is the building of parliament. this is one of the largest buildings in the entire world, and a reminder to the era of the communist leader Nicola Ceausesco. you can take a guided tour of an hour in the building and you will see only a fraction of it, as the building has more than 1000 rooms.
Next, if you are a Dracula fan, then you will be happy to hear that the real life blood thirsty prince Vlad Tepes, who was the inspiration to the famous vampire rose to power in this city during the 15th century. You can take a short trip outside of the city to a monestary on lake Snagov to his supposed grave, assuming you believe he ever died... or you can take a longer trip and explore the Castles of Transylvania including Bran Castle, a 13th-century hilltop fortress known as Dracula's Castle, and Peles Castle, a masterpiece of Neo-Renaissance architecture.

Romania is in mourning after a fireworks display inside a nightclub set off one of the worst disasters the country has seen in decades.
CNN reports that about four hundred people were gathered in Colectiv, a club in Bucharest, on Friday night for a free concert by rock group Goodbye to Gravity that soon turned disastrous.
According to witnesses, a spark from the show’s pyrotechnic display set a polystyrene pillar on fire, with flames spreading quickly and engulfing the entire ceiling in seconds.
As people opened a door to get out, a blast of air entered the room, the oxygen exacerbating the fire and turning it into a roaring inferno, with some reportedly witnessing an explosion, according to Reuters.
People fainted from the heavy smoke while others were trampled in the frantic rush to exit through the club’s single door.
At least 27 people were killed in the incident, while more than 180 were critically injured from smoke inhalation and burns. The Telegraph reports that some of those who died may have been killed in the stampede. Victims were brought to at ten different hospitals in the city, as officials also set up emergency medical services on site.
Authorities say the club had all the necessary paperworks for the show, but a formal investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire.

Orsos Islands (HD1080p)
*** Orsos Islands: It is an Austrian company specialized in the design, manufacture, equipment and maintenance of artificial islands, both for private use and for the creation of floating complexes and resorts. Its name is due to its creator, a Hungarian naval engineer named Gbor Orss who from a concept created a team with an architect, other engineers and specialized personnel to offer these luxurious floating mansions that, in addition, can also be moved through the water. ***
Movile Cave, Romania - Part III - The Lake Room, Lower Galleries and Air Bell
Filmed from my helmet camera in April 2011 during my second expedition into Movile Cave, Romania. Movile Cave is the only known totally sealed environment on Earth that contains life. The ecosystem is supported (in the total absence of light) by vast floating mats of microorganisms that feed on methane and carbon dioxide from the geothermal waters that flow through the Cave, mostly at the expensive of inorganic sulfur compounds and metals present in the waters and the limestock rocks of the Cave.
In this video, I analyse the gases in the air of the Lake Room of Movile Cave and collect water from the Lake. I then swap helmets with Dr Alex Hillebrand of the Emil Racoviță Institute of Speleology (Bucharest) who then SCUBA dives through the Lower Galleries of the Cave to collect water and microbial mat samples from the Air Bell beyond them. I was the first scientist from the UK to gain permission to access the Cave and was to my knowledge the 29th person in the world to have been in to this unique, beautiful, amazing and totally sealed environment - more people have been in space!
Movile Cave is located near the city of Mangalia in Romania, close to the Bulgarian border and remains in the custody of GESS. It is a protected site through the actions of the Mangalia City Council and the Romanian Academy of Sciences.

Bucharest Train Station 4k
I've come to know Romania as a super safe place with awesome people!! However, right before my cousin dropped me off, he gave me a warning that the train station is where the pick-pockets like to hang out -- you might not notice it in the video, but the place was swarming with police and security. I kind of blew him off on his first warning, so he basically sat me down and told me, seriously, this place is the dangerous one -- if you take your eyes off your stuff for a second there's a good chance it'll be gone!
Bucharest, Romania virtual tour
There are slides of Palace of Parliament, Stavropoleos Monastery, Romanian Athenaeum, Arcul de Triumf, University of Bucharest, National Military Circle, etc.
Bucharest is the capital and largest city of Romania, as well as its cultural, industrial, and financial centre. It is located on the banks of the Dâmbovița River, less than 60 km north of the Danube River and the Bulgarian border.
Bucharest was first mentioned in documents in 1459. It became the capital of Romania in 1862 and is the centre of Romanian media, culture, and art. Its architecture is a mix of historical (neo-classical), interbellum (Bauhaus and art deco), communist-era and modern. In the period between the two World Wars, the city's elegant architecture and the sophistication of its elite earned Bucharest the nickname of Little Paris (Micul Paris). Although buildings and districts in the historic city centre were heavily damaged or destroyed by war, earthquakes, and above all Nicolae Ceaușescu's program of systematization, many survived. In recent years, the city has been experiencing an economic and cultural boom.
Bucharest is the 6th largest city in the European Union by population within city limits, after London, Berlin, Madrid, Rome, and Paris.
Economically, Bucharest is the most prosperous city in Romania and is one of the main industrial centres and transportation hubs of Eastern Europe. The city has big convention facilities, educational institutes, cultural venues, traditional shopping arcades and recreational areas.
The city proper is administratively known as the Municipality of Bucharest (Municipiul București), and has the same administrative level as that of a national county, being further subdivided into six sectors, each governed by a local mayor.
Abisal @ Fruits&Beats Romanian Underground Electronic Music
????????????????????????????
Abisal is a new project, born at the and of 2017, between VID and Georgiana Lucaci. Their beginnings took place at the famous Zebra Club from Bacău, as residents, surrounded over the years by good music and wonderful people as Raresh, Barac, Dubtil and many other zebra’s people who were the source of inspiration for both. ABISAL is a project which combining their styles and backgrounds, musical culture blended up with love and two creative minds.
Their first performing was at MARATON events in december 2017, in their hometown, followed by another great LIVE act performing in London at STUMP/ 2 years anniversary AFTERPARTY.
ABISAL is smoothly rising through the local and international scene, being the proof of a perfect blend between interaction and improvisation, bringing the passion for music outside the studio, in front of the crowd.
So, leaving the words behind, I say to let music speaks for this musical duo.

[EN] Fruits & Beats Livestream is an electronic dance music channel where the artists of Zebra Booking Agency and their friends come in front of you with the latest productions from the ro-minimal and techno scene.
Most of the invited artists are from Romania , but depending on availability, will definitely come artists you love from outside the borders.
We chose to start the fun every Wednesday from 7 pm, considering that there is enough time to recover for those who had fun on the weekend and it is also a day of the week when we can call the artists we want to have in front of the cameras. The set will run for 4 hours, a time that can be a challenge also for experienced artists.
Out of passion for what we do, Zebra Booking and ALTa pARTe by The Stage have come together to promote this new concept in Bacau. Bacau is a city in Romania with a rich history of underground music. Target Underground and Zebra are two of the clubs that have promoted and powered artists who now make the maximum audience on any stage.
The two teams (The Stage and Zebra) behind Fruits & Beats have over 20 years of activity in the music industry and they can be proud that they have contributed a bit to the success of artists who are now headliners at all festivals in world (Raresh, Barac, Dubtil etc.)
