And in this episode we have Ashford Valley & Tickham Hunt supporters having fun with a female protestor. This happened at the Flying Horse in Smarden, UK. 3 male hunt supporters push a gate with a young female protestor, who proceeds to fall off of the gate. Luckily she managed to survive the great fall without being injured.

Having already done an impromptu investigation in the afternoon in West Kent the team ventured East for the evening investigation where, getting to grips with the new equipment was a challenge, another interesting investigation took place at this secluded location.

Withington St Michael Part One

Withington, made a famous appearance on Time Team, they investigated a Roman site on the banks of the river just outside the village.Later this ancient settlement had a Saxon church probably on the footprint of the present Norman building. Although the existing structure appears Perpendicular in style with an elaborate embattled tower and large Perpendicular windows, the church has two Norman doors and a structure originating in the mid 12th century.The building was altered in the 13th century and a south transept added in the Decorated style. Among the treasures of the church is a beautiful William Morris window depicting St Francis. William Cobbett visited the village in 1826 and wrote: The village of Withington has a church like a small Cathedral and the same sense of wonder will accompany your first sight of this magnificent edifice.
