Random Moment 1: The Fountain Inn
So here we are at the Fountain Inn all the way down in Ashurst West Sussex. One little known fact about this fine establishment (and I would highly recommend a visit if you are ever passing) is that Paul McCartney used this pub to record the video for his hit Christmas single Wonderful Christmastime.

This was written by Herbie Armstrong whilst living in Rowlands Castle, Hants where he runs and owns a pub & Restaurant called The Fountain Inn on the village green. Herbie was born and bred in Belfast Northern Ireland and very good friends with Van Morrison, who also came from Belfast. Herbie was a session musician for a long part of his life before giving up music for around 20 years to do the pub. Recently appearing on Britain's Got Talent as a contestant and taking the south of Hants by storm with his new material. The Fountain Inn regularly holds open mic nights where you can come down and have a jam every Tuesday or Thursday night, and appeals to all the local talent & session musicians like Ref DeanoTheSaxman on YouTube for session sax playing.
Herbie has formerly owned pubs in Sheffield The Boardwalk Slug & Fiddle being just two of many sites supplying live music on a regular basis. Herbie lives with his wife In Southsea and has 4 children.
