Fox and Cubs in Leicester
The view from our computer room window of a fox and two young cubs in Leicester UK. This is the first time we saw them, and they are still rather grey in colour with thin tails - soon they will be red-brown like the parent with a proper brush. Later in the summer they will play together with both parents in the garden; they are most likely with their father here since the cubs usually try to suckle their mother even for a few seconds while playing! By the time I had the camera (Sony XR520 at full zoom) on a tripod, they had gone behind the tree trunk so that sequence is a little shaky. Their den is under the tree roots and the entrance is at the centre left of the frame. Urban foxes are very common here, and the local association football (soccer) team is The Foxes. (In contrast, the Leicester Football Club is the Tigers, but tigers are not very common in Leicester.)

Hi guys. I'm really sorry that the old one went up and then I instantly deleted it. By the time that was due to go up, the re-filming series had been confirmed.
But it's in the past, and I present to you my proper visual of the 127 back to Leicester from Shepshed. I love this route so much that I just had to upload it as a premiere.
Experiences: This is another route I've used a few times across the course of last year (but only to Loughborough) and enjoyed it every time like the first time.
How I felt: I had no reason to be worried beforehand as I've never had any problem passengers on this route...apart from an out-of-control kid on the outbound who was sat on the other side of the front who got on with his mum and sister at Birstall, and stayed on until the very last stop on Anson Road, but filming this one, there were lots of hoodies in Shepshed and passing buses on narrow sections - I don't know if they can see the camera from down there and it makes me panic, just see the 14 one to Leicester and you'll know what I'm talking about.
I hope the driver and passengers that were on board in that horrific crash on Saturday make a speedy recovery and R.I.P 4776.

In 1984 the Leicester Tigers Rugby Club toured the Arabian Gulf. They played a Gulf 15 at the Bahrain Rugby Club. This video shows about the last 20 minutes and includes three Leicester tries. The Leicester team included Dusty Hare and Les Cusworth.
The final score was 54 - 3 to the Tigers

The African big cat left Levi, two, in tears after placing its paw on the glass enclosure at a zoo in Benidorm, when he wasn't paying attention. The fright caused Levi to scream and break down in tears. His mum, Rhiannon King, captured the 'hilarious' moment at Magic Natura Animal Park in the Spanish resort of Bendiorm during a family holiday. 'It scared him to death and I couldn't stop laughing', said stay-at-home mum, Rhiannon, from Leicester.
