The 125th Brigade was an infantry brigade formation of the British Army that saw active service during both the First and Second World Wars.It was assigned to the 42nd Division and served in the Middle East and later in the trenches of the Western Front in the First World War.In the Second World War the brigade, now redesignated 125th Infantry Brigade, fought in Belgium and France before being evacuated at Dunkirk and was then converted into 10th Armoured Brigade.Throughout its existence the brigade was composed almost entirely of battalions of the Lancashire Fusiliers, except for a few brief months in the early half of the Second World War.

Repcon 2016 Report with Simon Parkes
The first Repcon 2016 conference focuses on Reptilian Aliens... Held at the Fusiliers Museum, Bury, north Manchester, England May 29th 2016
Simon will be speaking the Camelot Lectures at High Elms Hall, Watford 2nd weekend of July, where I will be speaking with Harald Kautz-Vella, Peter Paget and more. But remember The Bases Project August lectures will NOT all be made public on the Internet, as sensitive information is for a live and present audience ONLY. Irish UFO Disclosure to only those who are there watching. ONLY
So they had Simon Parkes, whom I caught for an interview. The rest of the excellent speakers were recorded, so do support RepCon 2016 by going to their website dontmentionthereptilians.com which is also an excellent documentary. Max Spiers was billed as attending, but he will now be speaking at The Bases 2016 conference later in the summer at Pewsey, Aug 12th to 14.
Important references are made here to a life Form in the CERN Hadron Collider. This is an important information release by Simon, pay attention.
We back reference to Simon's first public appearance, with the very first Ammach material I feature very briefly, in the Nottingham Masonic Hall, March 2011, from some retrieved files on my Ammach archive, with some dodgy sound (the 4th track was lost in the massive 3TB Archive loss while Ammach was under attack), during its short life before the Ch4 massacre. A brief mention of the beautiful seductress Joanne Summerscales in her new venture ETnewsroom.
Lets hope its positive this time.

The Battle of Minden 1759
On 1st August 1759 Kingsley's Regiment (later the Lancashire Fusiliers) was found facing a French Army near the small German village of Minden. Battle ensued and as the fighting reached a climax, a misunderstood order launched several battalions of British Infantry, including Kingsley's Regiment, unsupported, towards the French. The battalions advanced in line against French guns and repeated attacks by French cavalry. Standing firm and in line, the British infantry repulsed several attacks by French cavalry and continued the advance ultimately leading to the defeat of the French Army. This incredible feat of arms had never been achieved before or after the Battle of Minden. The commander of the French Army, Marshal Contades is recorded as saying:
I never thought to see a single line of infantry break through three lines of cavalry ranked in order of battle and tumble them to ruin
After the battle the Commander of the Allied Forces, Prince Ferdinand issued the following orders:
Minden, 2nd August 1759.
Kingsley's Regiment of the British line,
from its severe loss, will cease to do duty.
Minden, 4th August 1759.
Kingsley's Regiment, at its own request,
will resume its portion of duty in the line.
Minden Day is commemorated by serving and retired members of the Regiment wearing Red and Yellow Roses.

Why move to Bury? | Miller Metcalfe
Why Move To Bury?
Bury is a busy market town offering the best of both worlds – all the amenities you’d expect from a large town yet with the strong sense of community more commonly found in small towns or villages.
Lying on the River Irwell, just 5.5 miles east of Bolton and 8 miles north of Manchester, Bury is perfectly positioned for those looking to commute for work or leisure. Bury is also connected to the Metrolink tram network, providing quick and easy access to the city centre and to major towns across Greater Manchester.
However, with so many fantastic shops, businesses, entertainments and attractions in Bury, why go anywhere else?
Bury is famous for it’s fabulous 500-year-old market, regularly voted ‘Best Market in Britain’. Staged indoor and outdoor, Bury Market provides a huge range of local produce such as fish, meat, fruit and vegetables as well as home interiors, clothing, shoes and much more.
Further retail therapy is available at The Rock, located close to our Bury estate agency offices, housing major stores including Debenhams, Next, Marks and Spencer and River Island.
Bury was awarded ‘Purple Flag’ status for it’s thriving night life and offers a variety of restaurants, bars and clubs for all ages and tastes.
Other entertainment includes the popular East Lancashire Railway, a twelve mile stretch of railway that offers families and enthusiasts the chance to ride many types of steam trains between Heywood, Bury, Ramsbottom and Rawtenstall. It includes driving course, fine dining events and visits from special guest trains, such as Thomas the Tank Engine and The Santa Special!
For more cultural pursuits, there is The Fusilier Museum located in the Cultural Quarter. The Museum is dedicated to the brave XX Lancashire Fusiliers and the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and commemorates over 300 years of history. Close by is The Transport Museum, Bury Art Museum and The Met Theatre ensuring you are never short of interesting things to do, see or explore.
Annual festivals attract residents and businesses from all over the Bury area. The Chocolate Festival in March, unites Ramsbottom’s many chocolate traders with chocoholics from across the region for three days of indulgence. Ramsbottom also hosts the Ramsbottom Festival over the third weekend in September. Thousands of people from all over come to watch world-renown music acts perform, such as Soul II Soul, The Proclaimers and Idlewild.
Those with children can take their pick of primary schools, with three in the local area rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted – Lowercroft Primary, Christchurch Primary, St Josephs Primary. For older children, there are a number of respected high schools as well as the esteemed Bury Grammar School in the town centre.
Sport is also well supported in Bury with a choice of cricket, golf and football clubs for players of all abilities and ages. Miller Metcalfe is very proud to be the official sponsors of Ramsbottom United Under 14’s Football Team – what talent!
There is so much we could tell you about Bury and it’s surrounding towns and villages. If you’d like to find out more about it, or about the property market and the possibility of selling or letting a commercial or residential property please give our Bury team a call on 0161 710 2168
The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers parades through Warwick town centre
On Friday, November 27, at 11.30am, 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers paraded through Warwick town centre to mark their arrival home from Iraq and Afghanistan. This was an extra special homecoming for the Fusiliers, who have a special link with Warwick as the The Royal Warwickshire Fusiliers (The 6th of Foot) was one of four regiments to make up the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. The regiment has the freedom of the town and this enables them to march with drums beating, colours flying and bayonets fixed. The parade ended at St John's Museum where the regiment's museum is housed (
The parade involved 200 troops, including a colour party, Corps of Drums and Minden Band.
The route took Northgate Street, Church Street, High Street, Swan Street and Market Place, with a collective salute at Shire Hall from Warwickshire County Council Chairman Cllr Peter Barnes, Warwick District Council Chairman Cllr Norman Pratt, the Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire Martin Dunne, High Sheriff of Warwickshire the Lady Kilmaine, Colonel of the Regiment Brigadier TJ Minter OBE DL, and Warwick Town Mayor Cllr Peggy Bennett, before continuing down Jury Street, Smith Street and to St John's Museum.
