The Footballer of Loos Pub in Twickenham, United Kingdom.
This pub is officially called the Rifleman. The sign commemorates the Footballer of Loos; Edwards. He volunteered for the London Irish Rifles at the outbreak of the Great War. In the battle he showed his sang-froid by kicking a ball at the enemy lines and catching up with it to dribble some of the way. In the years after the war he was very well known in this part of London. His tory was largely forgotten until the tale was retold for the centenary of his act of daredevilry.

The London Cheerleaders are the UK and Europe’s premier cheerleading team. As part of our performance at Twickenham we introduced an awesome kick line, the likes of which have never been seen performed by UK Cheerleaders. Check back to see tutorials on how to ensure your kick line looks amazing.
All our team had an amazing time at Twickenham as the Killik Cup Cheerleaders, performing professional cheerleading routines on the pitch in front of 30 000+ people, getting photos and engaging with fans.
Pre game we performed to the songs Welcome to the Jungle by Guns and Roses and The Nights by Avicii, it was cold but the crowd was amazing. We made up the guard of honour as the players walked on and were part of the minute silence for Jonah Lomu and the terrorist attacks in France. During the game we did sideline dancing to keep the crowd going, and cheer on the players for every try and conversion scored. At half time we performed to Bon Jovi’s Its My Life and our kick line to Axwell Ingrosso’s Sun Is Shining.
The Barbarians put up a good fight but it was Argentina that came away with the win on the day.
