7) Anna Ecklund
Anna Ecklund started manifesting signs of demonic possession when she was about thirteen years old. Her caregivers, who happened to be her aunt and father, are alleged to have routinely cursed the girl by tainting her food with magical herbs. The girl would speak in foreign languages, and strange guttural voices would be heard from her. Anna Eckland would also defy gravity by levitating as she clung to a wall.
After a successful exorcism in 1912, her aunt and father pleaded with Satan to possess her again. A few months later, Anna was possessed again by several demons. It took three thorough exorcism rituals and twenty-three days to free Anna from demonic possession.
6) Emily rose (Anneliese Michel)
Emily rose suffered from epilepsy and mental illness. When she was twenty years old, she spurned religious iconography and became suicide as she heard voices judging and condemning her to hell. Emily rose believed she was possessed by demons because she could have visions of demons.
After seventy exorcism rituals, Emily rose succumbed to death due to dehydration and starvation. As a result, the Catholic exorcists and her parents were charged with manslaughter and served six months in jail.
5) Clara Germana Cele
At age sixteen, Clara Germana Cele prayed and made an agreement with satan. She started manifesting strange behavior like speaking in foreign languages, knowing the ordeals, histories and thoughts of people she had not met, levitating in the air and could produce terrifying animalistic sounds.
Two priests performed an exorcism ritual and after two days, Clara Germana Cele received her restoration as the evil spirits were driven from her body.
4) David Berkowitz
David Berkowitz's, popularly known as 44 caliber killer or Son of Sam, terrorized New York City dwellers by killing six people and severely wounding seven in the 'Summer of Sam.' In 1977, Berkowitz was apprehended. He then confessed that a pet dog belonging to his neighbor had ordered him to go out and kill. According to him, this dog was possessed by an evil spirit that drunk human blood.
David Berkowitz was charged and sentenced to life imprisonment.
3) George Lukins
In 1978, George Lukins exhibited weird behavior that got his neighbors concerned. He would sing in a strange language and voice. George Lukins also exhibited horrifying behavior.
He spent over twenty-four months in hospital after which the caregivers decided that his condition had a demonic background. They, therefore, discharged him. Lukins could sing hymns backward as he barked like a dog, claiming he was the devil. Seven clergymen performed an exorcism rite, and Lukin praised God as he recited the lords prayer upon his redemption.
2) Roland Doe
Roland Doe, whose real name is Robbie Mannheim, was only fourteen years old when he was possessed by evil spirits. Demonic powers took over Roland in the 1940s when he attempted to use an ouija board to get in touch with his dead aunt. This act opened an avenue for demons who made him contort his body, levitate in the air and speak in alien tongues. Strange scratches and words appeared on his body.
With thirty exorcism rituals from priests, Roland Doe was freed.
1) Michael Taylor
Michael Taylor and Christine were a Christian couple that lived in Ossett, a small town in the Great Britain. The couple was members of a prayer group that was spearheaded by Mary Robinson. In 1974, Christine alleged that her husband and Mary Robinson were having a clandestine affair. This enraged Michael Taylor, who acted erratic as he yelled obscenities at his wife.
This seemed unusual and necessitated the indulgement of two clergymen who claimed to have exorcised over forty demonic forces from Michael. However, the priests warned that there were still more demons in his soul. Upon his arrival at home, he murdered Christine and their dog. He was tried and acquitted on insanity reasons.

THE ABANDONED CHURCH WEST YOURKSHIRE
The parish church was built in 1870 by W.H. Crossland (1823-1909), architect from Leeds. He began his career as a pupil of Sir George Gilbert Scott, built several Yorkshire churches in the Decorated style, and also undertook important secular commissions, including Rochdale Town Hall and Holloway College at Egham, Surrey. The building was put out to tender in March 1869, with the stone-laying ceremony on 21st July the following year. The church was completed at a cost of £4,167 and had a capacity of 550 seated worshippers. Consecration took place ten years later on 10th August 1880. sittings at a cost of, was built of stone.
Build with coursed sandstone from the local Crosland Hill quarries with graded-slate roofs, it has an aisled nave with south porch, south transept and west choir vestry, chancel with south vestry and south transeptal organ chamber, and north chapel continuous with nave aisle. Above the main door is a well-weathered sculpted figure of Christ in a mandorla, surrounded by vines.
The west choir vestry was added in 1914 by Huddersfield architect William Cooper. Things of note internally are the foliage capitals on corbelled shafts and the relatively good conditioned hammer beam roof. Most of the fixtures and features had been removed by 2003, however, a font with hemispherical bowl on a stem remains. The church became redundant in 1975, but was used by a local Roman-Catholic congregation until circa 2001. It was Grade II listed in September 1978 due to it being a well-designed and prominently sited former parish church retaining C19 character and detail.
