BBC - The Secret History of the British Garden (2015) Part 1: 17th-century
Monty Don explores the fascinating history and evolution of the British garden, from the seventeenth century through to the modern day.
Part 1: 17th-century
Monty Don uncovers the extraordinary stories behind Britain's 17th-century gardens. Starting his journey at the sole surviving garden of the 1600s - Levens Hall in Cumbria - Monty sets out to investigate what the gardens of this age would have looked like and what influenced and inspired their creation. Along the way, he sees a long-lost garden that - through archaeology and a German Luftwaffe photograph taken in the 1940s - reveals the hidden messages and religious beliefs of our 17th-century forebears. And Monty heads to Hampton Court, where politics, civil war and religious conflict played a key role in the evolving designs and fashions, including tastes in food, of the nation's finest gardens.

CAROL WOODS presentation 24 April 2016 - the chronic targeting continues 19Feb2019
This horrific case of the outrageous targeting of Carol Woods continues to this very day, with serious stalking and other serious crimes connected to certain UK government organisations very much taking place still [allegedly]. Carol Woods is a former child protection officer, and Level 3 Social Worker [who used to train other social workers] for Lancashire County Council, and a former Probation Officer also amongst other attributes. Her story is truly unbelievable - See Who is Carol Woods [15/01/2019] - and see the archive with numerous updates from Carol herself from 2016 - .
Peace.

Cyclical Vomiting Association UK Information Family Day
CVS has been recognised for over 100 years, but we still know very little about the cause of the problem and there is still no recognised treatment.
CVS is characterised by recurrent, prolonged attacks of severe vomiting, nausea and lethargy, with no apparent cause. Vomiting persists at frequent intervals, 5-6 times per hour at the peak, for periods ranging from hours to 10 days or more. It most commonly lasts for between 1 and 4 days. The episodes are self-limiting and tend to be similar to each other in symptoms and duration. The sufferer is generally in good health between episodes.
There is no diagnostic clinical or laboratory tests for CVS itself, but when all specific conditions that could cause the symptoms have been eliminated by testing, doctors may classify the illness as Cyclical Vomiting 'Syndrome'. This means that people with CVS may show a range of symptoms, one goal of the CVSA is to help develop better diagnostic criteria, so that sufferers are diagnosed more quickly and accurately than has been the case previously.
These videos in my profile contains the entire contents of the DVD that the charity sent out recently. The DVD includes interviews with medical advisors discussing diagnosis and treatment of CVS and a documentary on experiences of CVS sufferers as well as information on our Family Days.
CVS has orginisations located all over the world. To find a orginisation near you, visit the [url= page[/url]
The DVDs were distributed at £5 to £6. Please donate to the CvSA UK in order to recover the costs. You can find out more about the ways you can support the charity [url= and [url=

10 Natural Ways to Get Rid of Varicose Veins and Increase Blood Flow
Almost everyone occasionally experiences cold feet or numbness in their toes and fingers. But if it happens every day, it's a sign that you need help. It signals that your blood circulation is poor, which might result in kidney issues, varicose vein problems, and other not so pleasant diseases. Therefore, you should act quickly to avoid any possible health problems.

SUMMARY
- American Heart Association stated that owning a pet, especially a dog, reduces the risk of heart diseases. Forming a special bond with your pet lowers your heart rate when you are around them and helps you manage your stress. Besides, owning a dog increases your chances of getting outside and walking.
- Compared to other alcohol, wine gives you more benefits because it contains antioxidants and other plant compounds. In fact, it prevents blood platelets from sticking to one another, which highly reduces the risk of blood clots, which are the main reasons for strokes and heart attacks. Don't get too excited, though, as a moderate approach is a key here: the best amount of daily wine consumption is one drink for women and not more than two a day for men.
- Spicy foods are known to be quite helpful when you're dealing with poor blood circulation. For example, such products as cayenne pepper and red pepper expand blood vessels and increase the blood flow. They help your cardiovascular system to function better and keep blood pressure normal.
- If you still can't get rid of this unhealthy habit, here's a good reason to do it right now. Regular smoking destroys important antioxidants in your system and increases blood pressure. In the long run, smoking affects pretty much every organ in your body, including heart and blood vessels.
- Tight pants or skinny jeans hamper circulation and can facilitate the development of varicose veins. It's much better to choose lightly fitted or slightly loose garments, which will allow your blood to circulate normally throughout your body.
- Green tea is known to have a great effect on your health and physical state. It prevents cancer, lowers your cholesterol level, helps to lose weight and have a positive effect on the brain activity.
- One of the most important reasons to consume enough foods rich in folic acid is cellular growth and regeneration. Folic acid is engaged in the creation of red blood cells and the prevention of anemia. That means that not having enough folic acid will affect blood clotting. To prevent it, eat more dark leafy greens, such as spinach, turnip greens, and lettuce.
- Putting your feet up above the level of your heart improves your circulation at once as it takes the pressure off the veins and legs. It also helps you relax after a long hard day. This simple movement reduces the stress, swelling, and pressure on your blood vessels and veins.
- A good massage increases local circulation as it stimulates blood flow in the soft tissues. Several studies have shown that massage positively affects your peripheral vascular function. Don't forget that to have a needed effect it should be done right.
- Doctors recommend drinking about 8 glasses of water everyday. You can simply drink one or two bottles of water every day – it will do the job just as well. Another good variant is to find out the exact amount of water you should consume daily, depending on your age, gender and other important details about your lifestyle.

How To Deal With Roundabouts Driving Lesson: Easy To Understand UK Roundabouts
How to do roundabouts & understand roundabouts rules at A brief guide on how to do UK roundabouts driving lesson. When to go on a roundabout? What lane do you need on a roundabout? How to approach a roundabout? These are all common questions when it comes to understanding roundabouts and negotiating UK roundabouts and they're all answered in this video on dealing with roundabouts. We also show you how to negotiate mini-roundabouts and give you driving test tips along the way. If you're looking for help on how to do roundabouts then hopefully this video will give you the driving test tips that you need in understanding roundabouts. In some countries roundabouts are called traffic circles. If you're looking at how to deal with traffic circles in the UK then this video will help.
Turning left, 1st exit at the roundabout:
Keep in the left hand lane. Check mirrors, signal left. Give way to the right. Once you're on the roundabout and about to exit then check mirrors again, keep the left signal on to exit the roundabout.
Follow the road ahead, 2nd exit.
Keep in the left hand lane (unless signs or road markings tell you otherwise). No signal needed. Once it's clear to the right then go and keep in the left hand lane (unless road markings or signs tell you otherwise). Before leaving the roundabout, check mirrors, signal left and then exit.
Turn right, 3rd exit.
Check mirrors, signal right and approach in the right hand lane. Give way to the right. Once it's clear then keep in the right hand lane. Before leaving the roundabout make sure that you check your mirrors, signal left and then exit.
Hesitation at roundabouts is common. In one of the sections of this video we show you opportunities and examples of when to get onto a roundabout and which lane you'll need. These are only examples of ways to avoid hesitating at roundabouts, only go when you feel it's safe. Taking the wrong opportunity can be dangerous, so be careful.
