What Happened When We Visited a Haunted House in New York
When Miss Fanny Van Wyck, born in 1903, passed away in 1988, she could never have imagined her house would be auctioned off by the state against her dying wish. Now her ghost is believed to remain in Miss Fanny's Victorian Party House in Poughkeepsie, New York. The home is known as one of the most haunted in New York State. InsideEdition.com visited the historic location with a psychic medium to explore the house and find out if it really is haunted. The results were truly terrifying.

The Millennial Advantage | Mike LiPetri | TEDxFarmingdale
There are over 2,000 billionaires in the world and over 50 of them are millennials, collectively those millennials are worth over $200 billion.1 Millennials have been responsible for some of the most innovative and technological advances in the past decade and yet our generation is still labeled lazy and entitled. Millennials are shaping the world right now and previous generations are hesitant to acknowledge it. In fact, the most recent breakthroughs in internet technology, healthcare, transportation, and hospitality are in large part created by millennials. Think about it, would you be able to connect with distant family and friends if it was not for Facebook? Millennials have revolutionized technology, economics, and socialization to a point where they can accomplish more in a day than ever before. I call this level of unimaginable efficiency The Millennial Advantage.
Mike LiPetri was elected to the New York State Assembly on November 6, 2018. As an Assemblyman, Mike will continue his fight to hold criminals accountable, and root out and prevent public corruption in state government. He will also advocate for reduced state spending, small business growth, and the elimination of burdensome regulations that hamper statewide economic development.
As an attorney, Mike has worked with law enforcement and emergency services providers. Understanding their commitment to our neighborhoods and their unwavering service, Mike will continue to advocate on their behalf and take steps to provide additional resources to help curtail the proliferation of heroin and other opioids in communities across the state. Additionally, Mike will fight hard to preserve Long Island’s precious water quality so Long Island can be a sustainable community for future generations.
Prior to being elected to the New York State Assembly, Mike defended the City and its agencies including the NYPD, FDNY, and correctional officers. Mike also worked in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, Albany County District Attorney’s Office, and the Attorney General of the State of New York. He holds a Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from Albany Law School of Union University and a Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York at Albany.
A resident of Massapequa, Mike is very involved in his community. He volunteers his time for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Sons of Italy, Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, Sons of AMVETS, Massapequa Chamber of Commerce, and the Long Island Association. In honor of his achievements in both the civic and professional communities, Mike has been recognized by the Long Island Business News as one of Long Island’s upcoming business and civic leaders.

Cash, weapons, Lamborghini seized in major drug bust in Queens, Brooklyn
Four suspects were arrested in Queens and Brooklyn overnight Wednesday in what is being described as a major drug bust.
The bust was the result of a long-running investigation that began with two overdose deaths involving fentanyl-laced heroin -- one in Bay Ridge in 2016 and one in Kew Gardens in May of 2017.
The alleged ringleader was identified as 35-year-old Dionne Sharrow (AKA Slay), who was arrested at his apartment in a luxury high-rise on 51st Avenue in Long Island City. Among the property seized there was a loaded firearm, approximately $500,000 in cash and a Lamborghini parked in the building's garage.
