ZLP - Season 1 - Governor Hill Mansion - 1 Hour - Part 1 of 2
ZeroLux Paranormal - Season 1 - Governor Hill Mansion 1 Hour - Part 1 of 2
Join the ZeroLux Paranormal crew as we investigate the Governor Hill Mansion in Augusta, Maine. Built in the early 1900's, this mansion has seen some incredible events over the years. From illegally harboring immigrants during the time of the Japanese Internment, to the many years it served as a home base for catholic retreats and religious worship - the history of this place is undeniable. It's, literally, everywhere you look. It's in the walls, in the woodwork, in the furniture and the art. The architecture, itself, begs to tell a story you won't soon forget.
In the first half of this episode we investigate the 2nd floor, where there have been reports of full-body apparitions, physical contact with spirits, disembodied vocals, and a room that just couldn't be rented out to overnight retreat participants - even if it was the last room available - even if it meant they couldn't participate in the retreat unless they stayed in this room.
In the 2nd half of this episode we investigate Columbus Hall, which is just outside the 100% all-original kitchen. Columbus Hall is an addition that was built to connect the main house with the carriage house and kitchen, back in the 1940's when the Oblate Missionaries were gifted the residence. What makes this area such a fascinating place to investigate would be the numerous accounts by unrelated parties, over the years, who have seen the man in black standing in the middle of Columbus Hall. Dressed as though he is a horseman/carriage driver from the times before automobiles, his presence, alone, makes this a very viable location to spend some quality time.

In Part 3 of 4, the ZeroLux Paranormal crew shows you what it's like to run a real-time flashlight session, in true ZLP fashion. We pushed the limits of what the flashlight theory offers us, as investigators, in terms of viable evidence with these somewhat contested tools, by completely removing ourselves from the rooms they were placed. As a matter of fact, we ran our flashlight session while one of the flashlights was on the 2nd floor and we were on the 1st. We also made sure a timer is visible on the screen during the question/answer session so viewers can see for themselves that responses were within our acceptable time period. Our multi-cam approach clearly displays a linear real time investigation experience you won't find on nationally aired paranormal reality TV shows.

Visit Fort Western. Augusta, Maine
Fort Western was a colonial outpost at the head of navigation on the Kennebec River at modern Augusta, Maine, United States. It was built in 1754 by a Boston land company (the Kennebec Proprietors) to promote settlement in the area. The fort was a log palisade with blockhouses which protected a store and warehouse. It was never directly attacked. From a high elevation a large rectangular enclosure commanded the river for more than a mile. Blockhouses 24 feet square and watch-boxes 12 feet square guarded opposite corners, and within stood a two-story main house 100 feet by 32 feet.

Maine Remonstrance Wayne Leach Augusta 1-30-13.m4v
MAINE REMONSTRANCE! HISTORY IN THE MAKING! Here is Wayne Leach of Maine explaining in a press conference his thoughts about the Remonstrance he served, as a representative of the people of Maine, to the Governor and other members of the Maine government. What is a Remonstrance? Read this which is from the Maine Constitution 2003 Arrangement:
Article 1: Section 15. Right of petition. The people have a right at all times in an orderly and peaceable manner to assemble to consult upon the common good, to give instructions to their representatives, and to request, of either department of the government by petition or remonstrance, redress of their wrongs and grievances. Sorry for the poor sound quality - this is history in the making so it had to be uploaded as it was.
