The New Grange Park ????Toronto 2017????
The New Grange Park opened this summer and it seems quite popular ????
Tour of The Grange Excavation
Welcome to The Grange, the oldest brick mansion in Toronto and a National Historic Site of Canada. The house was built in 1817 by D'Arcy Boulton in the countryside beyond the core of the city, and remained in the hands of the Boulton family until 1911, when it became the first home of the Art Gallery of Ontario. However, our focus today is not on the history books or the landed gentry of the time, but on an altogether different story.

Ghetto Malls - Village by The Grange (Good & Cheap Food Court Though)
Another ghetto mall, this time in downtown Toronto, right across from the Art Gallery Of Ontario and OCAD University. This mall started out looking decent but started to deteriorate quite quickly. The owners did not invest money to keep things looking good but right from the start, it was a pretty low budget place. It has now mostly become a student hang out and a food court, for good but cheap food. I actually like the food here, so the place is not a total write-off.
The place actually has a few decent stores too, not to mention a Baskins And Robbins, ice cream place.

TORONTO, ONTARIO: The BEST places to EAT from our Kensington Market Food Tour! | Ep. 7
This week we went on a food tour of the boho Kensington Market in Toronto. It’s full of vintage shops, ethnic restaurants, bars, food markets and music shops (and hipsters). It has so much history! It was one of Toronto’s first markets known as the “Jewish Market”. It borders Chinatown and in more recent years has a lot of Latin grocers and restaurants. We love going there weekly and you must visit if you come to Toronto!

Aquaverde, Grange Park, Toronto
The W. Garfield Weston Foundation commissioned Aquaverde for the redesigned Grange Park adjacent to the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto.
This water sculpture resulted from a limited competition to design an artwork for the circular area at the end of a curved wall carrying a rill of water across the park. The design is a mirror polished stainless steel bowl which receives the water from the rill, with seven spouts delivering laminar flowing water into cups. The cups break the flow and create animation of the water that can be seen from a distance.
LED lights are set below the cups to provide a programme of colour changing lighting at night.
The park was reopened and Aquaverde inaugurated on 8th July 2017 by Mr. and Mrs. Galen Weston.

North York Twilight Walk on Yonge Street [4K Toronto]
This 4K walk recorded at twilight takes us around the Willowdale neighbourhood in North York, Toronto. I start by making my way out of the Sheppard Subway Station and into the Sheppard Centre. Then its out to Yonge Street. I walk north up the east side of Yonge all the way to Finch Avenue and turn around head back down the west side of Yonge to Sheppard Station and hop on the train. While walking south I come across a candlelight memorial setup for the 176 victims, 57 of whom were Canadian from the commercial plane that was tragically blown up in Iran on January 8th. Feeling a bit somber after I take a quick look at the skating rink setup at the North York City Centre. This area is sometimes referred to as Toronto's second Koreatown. I recorded this on Friday, January 9th just after 5 pm.
0:01 - Sheppard Subway Station
0:24 - Sheppard Centre
2:07 - North on Yonge Street
23:56 - Finch Avenue
25:14 - South on Yonge Street

Downtown Toronto walk in the snow on Richmond St, Peter St, Queens St, Grange Park (4k walking tour)
My 4k Toronto video of a walking tour in the snow which starts off on Richmond Street, and heads west until Peter Street. From there, this downtown Toronto walk turns northbound until Queen Street, then heads eastbound. I turned north on John St, ending up in Grange Park, and had a look at the OCAD building (Ontario College of Art and Design). The Toronto snowfall wasn't coming down too hard in this one, but I'm sure we'll be getting some winter storms with lots of snow this season!
I hope you enjoy this Toronto 4k video walking tour!

Going Up the CN Tower in Toronto!
Just plain awesome. Yes it's a tourist trap and they charge high prices, but in my opinion it's worth it. Standing on the glass floor and looking straight down at the people below was fun!
