Silver and Gold Magazine celebrates 10 years at Paletta Mansion
[Community Event] Grab your popcorn! Have you ever seen such a glorious group of like-minded professionals all united for an amazing event? Silver and Gold Magazine celebrates 10 invaluable years in our community. Providing entertainment, insight and important resources to our exponentially aging sector of our population. #Boomers and #Seniors. Mayor Rick Goldring nailed it when he said almost half of Burlington, Ontario falls into this category or will be soon. There are so many people to mention who contributed their time and expertise to this memorable occasion set at historic Paletta Mansion, the jewel in the crown of the Burlington Waterfront. The place was packed from start to finish. Antique appraisals, hand writing analysis, an antique train set and even a dynamite quartet! Dr. Laura Anne Belus had great insight for aging healthfully. The fashion show was my absolute favourite part! Thank you Kari Morrow-Floren from Kari's of Ancaster. Steve Ilott from Decluttering.ca rocked the day too! Theresa and Saskia from Sell n Stay ???? Karl Eden from Taoist Tai Chi - Burlington Branch co-ordinated a motivating tai chi demonstration!! Special thanks to Suzanne Soto-Davies for spear-heading this dream publication ten years ago and having the foresight to see where we are headed. Guest appearances: Mayor Rick Goldring from Burlington and Mayor Rob Burton of Oakville. Burlington remains the number one mid-sized city in all of Canada for the fourth year running and number two for best Canadian places to live, work and play 2016 by MoneySense magazine It's no wonder.

MaxSold Trends in Downsizing and Estate Sales: November
The MaxSold team focused this month's highlights on collections, which is something MaxSold runs into often.
A lifetime collection of trains? We've sold those. An entire house filled with LEGO's? Done! Wall-to-wall shelving of Barbie dolls? You better believe it. A huge collection of stamps ????, and even a massive coin collection totalling over $200,000? Check and Check.
Handling 1000s of sales for Relocating, Downsizing and Estate Settlement clients (and with 272,078,972 pageviews on MaxSold in the last 12 months) we are often the first to see trends in this industry.
This month on Maxsold, we sold
an entire collection of radios.
Not a handful, not 20, but over 200
different radios of all shapes and sizes.
Turns out, selling these collections
isn't that unique on Maxsold.
We have collectors that
have collected these items
for their entire lifetime,
and Maxsold has handled
the sale of their goods
so that these items
can be passed on to others to enjoy.
We've sold a lifetime
collection of trains,
an entire house filled with LEGO's,
wall-to-wall shelving of Barbie dolls,
