2019 NEW & UNIQUE LUXURY TREEHOUSE HOTEL - TreeHouse Villas Koh Yao Noi in Phang Nga Bay Thailand
On land, the region nurtures the green ecosystems and ancient primary rainforest; offshore, the koh yao noi islands beckon with some of the world’s most gasp-worthy dive spots. Exuding a laid-back vibe, Phang Nga’s hub – and diving jump-off point – coastal Khao Lak lacks the razzle-dazzle of Phuket and Krabi, but that’s just the way visitors like it. Sun-soakers, nature-lovers and thrill-seekers won’t fail to be awestruck.
TreeHouse-Villas.com
A short journey from Phuket International Airport, you will arrive to the start of your Tree House Villas experience. From the Yacht Haven Marina, you will embark on a 55-minute speed boat journey where you will soak up the scenery through the spectacular world famous Phang Nga bay. Located in a remote corner at the top of this idyllic island of Koh Yao Noi and nestled within a national reserve, you will find this luxury and exclusive resort in a tropical rain-forest on it’s own private bay which is surrounded by towering limestone cliffs.
Koh Yao Noi Island is a quiet tropical getaway situated between Phuket and Krabi, allowing for an ideal addition for a multicentre holiday in Thailand and combining many of the famous resorts the land of smiles has to offer. The largely untouched island is covered with lush tropical jungle and limestone cliffs and is fringed by beaches and reef, and surrounded by numerous tiny islands with their own beaches. If venturing out is too much, then we are lucky enough to boast that the Tree House Villas commands spectacular views over the internationally renowned limestone backdrop of Phang Nga bay where the James Bond Movie “The Man with the Golden Gun” and Leonardo DiCaprio’s film “The Beach” were both filmed.
Our romantic and exclusive resort will be opened later in 2017 offering 25 signature Tree House Villas with 100sqm of duplex living space and private infinity plunge pools all accessible via their own private suspension bridge and an additional 6 Beachfront Pool Villas which are single story villas and have a 7m private infinity pool with direct walk on beach access.
The resort has been designed for guests with a love of the environment, the beauty of nature and the desire to rediscover their inner child. Set amongst the jungles canopy in a treetop location with unspoilt views to the sea and Phang Nga Bay, these villas offer an experience like no other. Each Villa comes complete with a private dining facility, personal complimentary daily refilled mini bar stocked with your favourite drink, a double swing, day beds and a cloakroom. Each villa will also have access to the E-butler service which allows you to request anything you desire via the in room tablet; whether it be in-room dinning, in-room spa treatments or you want to arrange dinner reservations. You will be able to arrange it all in the comfort of your own private villa.
For exclusive use to the Tree House Villas guests, the resort will offer a Clubhouse with its own restaurant and bars. The beachfront Clubhouse will be situated alongside a series of cooling and reflective pools with the beach to one side and a natural waterfall to the other. The restaurant menu will offer selection of signature dishes created by the onsite chef using local ingredients ranging from traditional Thai cuisine to International dishes from the Mediterranean.
Indulge in Serene Spa where you can relax in the fully equipped tropical outdoor spa where all the ingredients used are natural. Enjoy some time in our herbal steam room or opt for a classic Thai massage which are delivered in open-air Sala’s nestled discreetly into the hillside overlooking Phang Nga Bay.

Khao Lak Motorbike Rental in Bang Niang with Charoenkit
Khao Lak motorbike rental is found at Charoenkit Co Ltd close to the Bang Niang Market.
One of the first things you notice when you arrive in Khao Lak is the abundance of motorbikes/scooters. Motorbikes are cheap to rent, fun to ride and give you the freedom to do as you wish whilst enjoying your holiday in Khao Lak. Prices range from around 250 baht to 500 baht (7-14 Euro) per day depending on the age and power of the motorbike. There is no shortage of rental shops in Bang Niang, Khao Lak, so finding what you require is easy.
Economy wise this is probably the best way to visit the sites around the Khao Lak area. Gasoline is cheap at around 25 baht (0.7 Euro) per liter and it is easily found. Gasoline stations are limited but there are many kiosk style fuel pumps that you can access 24/7. It’s always a good idea to ensure the tank is full before heading off into the countryside as the opportunities to refill are more limited.
In Thailand they drive on the left hand side of the road so be cautious when you first get on your motorbike if you’re not used to driving on the left. Generally the roads in and around Khao Lak are of a pretty good standard although you have to look out for the odd “pot hole” in the middle of the road and for some of the delivery drivers in their sporty pick-ups.
Khao Lak is blessed with amazing natural beauty and fantastic temples. Many temples and National Park areas are within a 30 minute motorbike ride and well worth a visit. One word of caution if you want to go and check out some of the local waterfalls is that the roads to these are generally rough tracks so be cautious.
Even though the weather is hot generally in Khao Lak it is Law to wear a crash helmet whilst riding a motorbike. Many people flout this law which is not only dangerous but can land you with a 500 Baht (14 Euro) fine for non compliance. It’s advisable also to take your drivers license and copy of the rental agreement with you in case you are stopped by the Police.
All in all renting a motorbike from a reputable source is a great way to get around Khao Lak. Happy riding and see you at Charoenkit.
