The Gympie Jungle | Pizza time | Family Vlog
So today me and my son went to the one and only indoor play centre, The Gympie Jungle. We had an amazing time there, almost spent about 3 hours. The indoor play centre caters for kids of all ages. The environment is safe and there is alot of learning for younger kids, in terms of building blocks, learning shapes, colours etc.
Afterwards we went home, i did not feel like cooking so ended up making pizza from ready made pizza base which was delicious!

Australia,The Gympie Pyramid is a terraced hill on the outskirts of Gympie in South East Queensland. It purportedly had stone structures on it, built before modern European settlement. and is even known and spoken of in the local aboriginals legends they tell of a sacred hill, built by a race that came hear in crafts that looked like great big birds(boats) thousand's of years ago.
the kabi kabi tribe believed that the sacred hill was cursed and to this day speak of the site to have bad spirits.Me and my friend decided to check out the rumors of this ancient pyramid structure.after A lot of effort we got the direction's to the site 5km out of gympie.even know the site itself is very over grown and has had a lot of damage from weathering, also due to major flooding gympie is notorious for it's large rain fall and giant flood every 20 years. over the thousands of years it's been there. We both agreed that there was defiantly some kind of structure. Not sure what, or who... but something.in conclusion. We don't really know what it is.. all we do know is, if it's not aboriginals that built it.. and it was hear before white settlers arrived in 1865(pre cook) then who built this strange near megalithic structure?
The first recorded pioneer evidences of an old ruins complex appeared between 1860-1880. Such evidences were verified later when there was a desperate need for sandstone blocks for commercial constructions following the Gympie Gold Rush days of 1867. To the advantage of the settlers and new business operators (and opportunists), local knowledge soon spread that nearby was a place in the jungle that had vast quantities of pre-shaped sandstone blocks ready for recycling. In those days, historical factors had never been considered. Subsequently, the sources of the vast piles of rock were pilfered in such large quantities by the local tradesmen entrepreneurs for houses, fireplaces and commercial establishments(the wall of the church at the start of the clip) that by.1885, the entire site was devoid of any past existence. The ancient site was then reclaimed by thick woodland forest and with the passing of time -- forgotten~
Claims of the discovery of an ancient pyramid ruin or terraced hill mound in prickly pear forests on the outskirts of Gympie City in the 1960's then bounced back and forth for nearly forty years like a tennis match on whether such a relic did or did not exist during aeons past
Today, the jury is still deciding its verdict. Most agree that something did exist -- What it was is the ongoing question. Further, most agree that the ruins were definitely not of any Aboriginal (they did not build in or use stone constructions) or early European settlement origin but built by some ancient mariner civilisation possibly plundering the gold resources of the Gympie goldfields (substantiated by old local Aboriginal legend stories). All of these factors only added to the intrigue of a growing myth

Gold Prospecting a Rainforest Stream.
We head into the deep rainforest of North Queensland on the trail of the 'Old Timers' who discovered alluvial gold in the area in the late 1800s. Although the stream is only known to produce fine alluvial gold, we nevertheless give the ATX a run in the fresh water fitted with the sensitive 8 monoloop coil. No targets come to light so out comes the prospecting pan and a trace of 'colour' shows we are in the right area. The intriguing thing about this alluvial gold is that the source has never been found -- possibly an undiscovered reef upstream or perhaps the area has been isolated geologically from the source tens of thousands of years ago? In any event, a great day out in idyllic country and a good way to waste a few hours! Thanks for watching and subscribing. nqexplorers.com facebook.com/nqexplorers garrettaustralia.com.au

At first the theory that pyramidsite was originally some kind of old vinyard built in the early 1900's,by Italian immigrants seem's plausible,But after doing a bit more research which lead's to my first point of argument against this theory. Up until the late 1940's after WW2 there were no Italian migrant's on record (electoral rolls, land deeds and cemetery records) living in Gympie, in fact the whole shire .Which leads me to my second point The structure is actually intersected by three separate land deeds or titles,Homestead Mining Leases, the first of which was granted on the 30/6/1892 as mining homestead lease to an R.H.James who held the lease for 11 years, the lease was then transferred to Edwards in 1903. This lease was for five acres of land and takes in roughly 50% of the total terraced area. In 1929 and 1931 the leases which adjoined to either side of the first lease were taken up by Drummond and Parke as joint tenants.Drummond and Parke held the three leases until 1961 at which point they were acquired by Ward who held them until 1973.then they were split into the 4 subdivided property's which have had several different tenants till present. They all agree on one thing, that the site was there way back in the 1860's when European settlers Pioneered through Qld...
Subsequently, the sources of the vast piles of rock were pilfered in such large quantities by the local tradesmen entrepreneurs for houses, fireplaces and commercial establishments that by 1885,A lot of the original pre-shaped sandblocks had been taken From the site and used in construction(This point show's a massive hole in the Italian vineyard theory)
The ancient site was then reclaimed by thick woodland forest and with the passing of time -- forgotten.Claims (followed by adverse counter-claims) of the discovery of an ancient pyramid ruin or terraced hill mound in prickly pear forests on the outskirts of Gympie City in the 1960's then bounced back and forth for nearly forty years like a tennis match on whether such a relic did or did not exist during aeons past. These speculations were further enhanced by the many media headlines over successive years, highly publicised theoretical findings of opportunists, amateur geologists and archaeologists, sceptics, research societies
Today, the jury is still deciding its verdict. Most agree that something did exist -- What it was is the ongoing question. Further, most agree that the ruins were definitely not of any Aboriginal (they did not build in or use stone constructions) or early European settlement origin. These are all major point's leaning towards the theory of it predating Euro settlers.
In This clip(pt2) i focus more around the summit of the structure, which has some pretty large strange looking stone's which resemble 2 pillars each pillar weighing close to 2 ton's!!. i'm told they once stood vertical but now lie next to each other, some worked and very weather stones as well on the east side and north-side. please watch Part 1 too get more of a understanding this bizarre legend.
~Filmed and edited by Nicko Eshuys
In part 1 I show footage of the united church's massive70meter sandstone rock wall, Built straight from the jungle of perfectly cut stone blocks, way back in the late 1870's by the first European settlers, also footage of the freemason lodge, the court house and the old post office, built with the same stone. Please watch, like and subscribe.
