Haft Gumbad Gulbarga, India
Haft Gumbad, or Seven Domes, lies outside the city of Gulbarga to the east and contains the tombs the later Bahmani sultans. The earliest tomb is that of Mujahid (d. 1378/779 AH), but the most important is that of Firuz (d. 1422/825 AH), which shows the fully evolved Bahmani style and is the largest and best decorated of the group. Other tombs in the group include that of Da'ud (d. 1378/779 AH) and Ghiyath al-Din (d. 1397/799 AH).
The tombs of Da'ud and Firuz both consist of two domed chambers linked by a narrow interior corridor, forming a double mausoleum, while the tombs of Mujahid and Ghiyath al-Din are typical square plan single domed monuments.

CHOR GUMBAD, GULBARGA - A TOMB WITH FOUR MINIATURE TOMBS ON THE ROOFTOPChor Gumbad - The lone tomb which is built on the west of the Gulbarga fort on the top hill. The tomb has some finest stucco on its ceilings and the jalis. Chor Gumbad does not house a grave, but is perhaps a victory monument. The unique and beautifully set piece of architecture dome suggests it may have been constructed by Ahmad Shah to honor his victory over his brother Firuz Shah. The tomb has an entrance to the east, facing the Gulbarga fort. The ceiling of the dome is decorated with a band of stucco scrolls, from which emerge large leaf shaped tree design filled with scrolls. There are steps that lead to an upper corridor, evidently meant for ladies of the Bahmani court. On the rooftop there are small tombs on the four corners with domes and small corner minarets. This lone tomb is visible while traveling in train close by Gulbarga Station which indicate that you are about to visit the Sufi Gulbarga City.Other places to be visited in Gulbarga:

Chor Gumbaz
Chor Gumbaz was built by Ahmed Shah of Bahamani Kingdom in 1422 AD. It was built to mark his victory over his brother Firoz Shah. The sight was selected on the highest altitude from where the whole city of Gulbarga can be seen.
According to the available literature the site was suggested by the great wifi saint Hazrat Khaja Bandanawaz Gesudaraj. Ther term gumbaz is usually a tombstone, on the contrary there are no graves inside the tomb.
As per literature the tomb was surrounded by a beautiful lake which is now dried up and the site has been possible encroached.
Sadly this majestic building has been destroyed by irresponsible people who engrave and damage the walls.

गोल गुम्बद का इतिहास || Gol Gumbad History in Hindi || Facts about Gol Gumbad in Hindi
ol Gumbaz is the mausoleum of king Mohammed Adil Shah, Sultan of Bijapur. Construction of the tomb, located in Vijayapura (formerly Bijapur), Karnataka, India, was started in 1626 and completed in 1656. The name is based on Gola gummata derived from Gol Gombadh meaning circular dome.[1] It follows the style of Deccan architecture.
The structure is composed of a cube, 47.5 m (156 ft) on each side, capped by a roof 44 m (144 ft) in external diameter. Eight intersecting arches created by two rotated squares that create interlocking pendentives support the dome. At each of the four corners of the cube, is a dome-capped octagonal tower seven stories high with a staircase inside.[2] The upper floor of each tower opens on to a round gallery which surrounds the dome. Inside the mausoleum hall, is a square podium with steps on each side. In the middle of the podium, a cenotaph slab on the ground marks the actual grave below, the only instance of this practice in the architecture of the Deccan sultanates. In the middle of the north side, a large semi-octagonal bay protrudes out.[2] With an area of 1,700 m2 (18,000 sq ft),[3] the mausoleum has one of the biggest single chamber spaces in the world. Running around the inside of the dome is the whispering gallery where even the softest sound can be heard on the other side of the mausoleum due to the acoustics of the space

Gulbarga Fort & Jami Masjid
The Gulbarga Fort located in Gulbarga City in the Gulbarga district of North Karnataka, India. It was originally built by Raja Gulchand during the Warangal dynastic rule. It was subsequently substantially fortified in West Asian and European military architectural style by Alauddin Hasan Bahman Shah, the ruler of the Bahmani dynasty; Islamic monuments such as mosques, palaces, tombs, and other structures were also built later within the refurbished fort. The Jama Masjid built later, within the fort, in 1367, is a unique structure built in Persian architectural style, fully enclosed, with elegant domes and arched columns, which is unlike any other mosque in India; particular mention is made of the citadel that was added in the centre of the fort. The fort has an area of 0.5 acres (0.20 ha) and periphery length of 3 kilometres (1.9 mi). It is well fortified with double fortification. A 30 feet (9.1 m) wide moat surrounds the fort. The fort is a monumental structure highly fortified with 15 towers mounted with 26 guns; each gun located inside the fort is 8 metres (26 ft) long and is still well preserved. The mosque, one of the first in South India, was built to commemorate Gulbarga as the capital of the Bahmanid Sultanate. The mosque though simple in design but has a symmetrical plan with well organized constituent parts. The masjid, only one of its kind in India, has dimensions of 216 feet (66 m)x176 feet (54 m) . The masjid, which was in ruins, has been well tended now. The mosque has no open courtyard. The outer passageways surround the prayer hall on three sides and have low open arcades with arches.

01 Gol Gumbaz or Gol Gumbadh of Vijapur,Bijapur Karnataka
Gol Gumbaz or Gol Gumbadh, Kannada: ಗೋಲ ಗುಮ್ಮಟ, Urdu: گول گمبد, from Persian گل گنبذ Gol Gombadh meaning rose dome, (a reference to the flower/rose/lotus petals that surround the dome at its base, making it appear as a budding rose)-- is the mausoleum of Mohammed Ali Shah, Sultan of Bijapur. The tomb, located in Bijapur, Karnataka in India, was completed in 1656 by the architect Yaqut of Dabul. Although impressively simple in design, it is the structural triumph of Deccan architecture.[1]
The structure is composed of a cube, 47.5 metres (156 ft) on each side, capped by a dome 44 m (144 ft) in external diameter. Eight intersecting arches created by two rotated squares that create interlocking pendentives support the dome. At each of the four corners of the cube, is a dome-capped octagonal tower seven stories high with a staircase inside.[1] The upper floor of each opens on to a round gallery which surrounds the dome. Inside the mausoleum hall, is a square podium with steps on each side. In the middle of the podium, a cenotaph slab on the ground marks the actual grave below, the only instance of this practice in the architecture of the Adil Shahi Dynasty. In the middle of the west side, a large half-octagonal bay protrudes out.[1] With an area of 1,700 m2 (18,000 sq ft),[2] the mausoleum has one of the biggest single chamber spaces in the world.
Running around the inside of the dome is the Whispering Gallery where even the softest sound can be heard on the other side of the mausoleum due to the acoustics of the space.[2] It is said that the Sultan, Ibraheem Adil Shah and his Queen used to converse in the same manner. During his[who?] time, the musicians used to sing, seated in the whispering gallery so that the sound produced could reach every corner of the hall. In the hall below the whispering gallery, dancers provided entertainment. At a height of 33.22 m from the floor of the hall, projects a 3.25 m wide gallery, all round the inner periphery of the dome. This gallery is called the 'Whispering Gallery', because even the finest whisper or sound made in it is heard from side to side and even a single loud clap is distinctly echoed over ten times.
