Zuraw - wooden port crane, Gdansk, Poland
Zuraw - wooden port crane, Gdansk, Poland (Żuraw na Motławą, Gdańsk, Polska)
The oldest documented mention of Zuraw as a wooden port crane was in 1367. What you see today, however, was reconstructed in the middle of the 15th century after a devastating fire devoured the original structure. The large crane was used to place masts on ships and to load cargo. During World War II, the wooden area was destroyed and only 60 % of the brick portion remained in tact. After the war, Zuraw was once again rebuilt and handed over to the museum. Today you can find different exhibits detailing the interesting history of the entire port of Gdansk. The crane is home to a branch of the Maritime Museum. Zuraw is open to visitors during the summer months from 10 AM to 6 PM -Saturdays are free!

Germany: Impressions of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck
The Hanseatic City of Lübeck is the second-largest city in Schleswig-Holstein, in northern Germany, and one of the major ports of Germany. Situated on the river Trave, it was for several centuries the capital of the Hanseatic League (Queen of the Hanse) and, because of its Brick Gothic architectural heritage, is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
Much of the old town has kept a medieval appearance with old buildings and narrow streets. At one time the town could only be entered via any of four town gates, of which today two remain, the well-known Holstentor (1478) and the Burgtor (1444).
The old town centre is dominated by seven church steeples. The oldest are the Lübecker Dom (the city's cathedral) and the Marienkirche (Saint Mary's), both from the 13th and 14th centuries.

Sincarnate - Nothing Left to Give Hatework/ACM A BlankTV Premiere!
Artist city, country: Bucharest, Romania
Artist Biography: Sincarnate is a Romanian death/doom metal band, formed in Bucharest in 2005. To date, Sincarnate has released one EP and one full-length record and is regarded as one of the representative Romanian extreme metal bands.
2012 -- present
After the departure of the second guitarist, Nicu, and the drummer Gigi, Sincarnate started looking for replacement, continuing to work for a future release. Cristi (who inbetween started his collaboration with the Romanian doom/death bands DinUmbra, as guitarist, and Abigail as a keyboard player) decided to take on the empty guitarist slot, and Flo, former drummer of Necrovile and leader of the Romanian brutal-death band Malpraxis accepted to join the band, allowing Sincarnate to continue its concerting.
In 2013 Sincarnate focused on composing material for the next recording, sustaining only several shows on the local scene, in Bucharest, Bacau (where Sincarnate opened for Agathodaimon and Cluj. The series of concerts came to a stop as Flo had to return to his home-town, Sincarnate finding a replacement for the drummer position in the person of Herod.
After opening the concert in Brasov for Nargaroth and a concert in Timisoara (held with another band from Hatework's rooster, Decease), Sincarnate started preparing the recording sessions for its next material.
Sincarnate just finished the filming sessions for their first official video, meant to announce their next recording, which is planned to be released in this fall. Filmed in Brasov and produced by the well-known Romanian artist Costin Chioreanu, the video will describe his surprising vision on one of the songs included in the future Sincarnate material, entitled Nothing Left to Give.
The fall of 2013 announces a full schedule for Sincarnate, with lots of live apparitions. First of all will be along the black-metal friends from Sado Sathanas and Macht from Germany, in Bucharest.
Sincarnate will take part, as an opening act, at the second coming of the American death-metal gods NILE in Europe in this fall, within the AT THE GATE OF SETHU 2013 EUROPEAN TOUR Part II. Sincarnate will share the stage with Nile, Ex-Deo, Lost Soul, Svart Crown and Saratan in Copenhagen, Denmark, Hamburg and Rostock, Germany, Szczecin, Gdynia and Torun in Poland.
Sincarnate was also recently announced as part of the upcoming November to Dismember Metal Festival, organized by Axa Valaha Productions & Ribcage Booking, lining up Hail of Bullets, Aura Noir, Avulsed, Impaled Nazarene, Ahab, Daemonicus, Feto in Fetus, Infest, Scarecrow, Solace of Requiem among many others.

Song Lyrics: Sometimes I need, I need to kill.
Sometimes I need, I need your skin, so I can feel,
I need your eyes so I can see,
I need your mouth, so I can spit.
Sometimes I need, I need to feed upon your fears,
So I can live 'till the end of time.
Sometimes I need, I need your ears so I can hear,
I need your feet, so I can walk,
I need your tongue, so I can talk.
Sometimes I need, I need to kill,
All of my dreams, so I can live, 'till the end of times.
This hunger that I feel; it is a curse. I shouldn't give in. There is no harm in searching for. There is no hope. To want to bleed. There's nothing left to give.
Am I the only one, broken and undone,
Staring at the sun, waiting,
Waiting the end to come?!
I always need.

Cities: Skylines - The American Dream #5 - Downtown west: public housing, warehouses & row-houses
In episode #5, we finish up Downtown Crescent by completing the most western reach of the area. The western part of Downtown is a mixed bag of industry, mainly warehouse based manufacturing with former freight rail traffic, a historic row-house neighbourhood as well as a large park featuring a lake, big old trees and a public stage/amphitheater which was used extensively during the civil rights movement. We also add some very early public housing, through the notorious towers of Waterfront Court - famous for it's hiphop artists and culture.

Blindsight - What you will become
The American Dream follows the city of Crescent, a big, sprawling, segregated and troubled city located along the Atlantic shore of the state of Georgia, USA - south of Savannah, GA, and north of Jacksonville, FL. The series depicts a city desperate for inner-city revitalization, crime reduction, urban investments & infrastructure upgrades. Loss of industry, manufacturing jobs and the subsequent white flight, as well as a race riot, took a heavy toll on much of the urban core of Crescent.
The Crescent City Council will be the main catalyst for change, and consists of all those of you willing to take part in the coming votes and thereby help shape the city and it's prospects.

The Hanseatic City of Lübeck (pronounced [ˈlyːbɛk] ( listen), older [ˈlyːbeːk]) is the second-largest city in Schleswig-Holstein, in northern Germany, and one of the major ports of Germany. It was for several centuries the capital of the Hanseatic League (Queen of the Hanse) and, because of its Brick Gothic architectural heritage, is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. In 2005 it had a population of 213,983.
Situated on the river Trave, Lübeck is the largest German port on the Baltic Sea. The old part of the town is an island enclosed by the Trave. The Elbe--Lübeck Canal connects the Trave with the Elbe River. Another important river near the town centre is the Wakenitz. The Autobahn 1 connects Lübeck with Hamburg and Denmark (Vogelfluglinie). The borough of Travemünde is a sea resort and ferry port on the coast of the Baltic Sea. Its central station links Lübeck to a number of lines, notably the line to Hamburg.
Much of the old town has kept a medieval look with old buildings and narrow streets. The town once could only be entered by passing one of four town gates, of which two remain today, the well-known Holstentor (1478) and the Burgtor (1444).
The old town centre is dominated by seven church steeples. The oldest ones are the Lübecker Dom (the city's cathedral) and the Marienkirche (Saint Mary's), both from the 13th and 14th centuries.
Other sights include:
the Lübecker Rathaus (Town Hall).
Saint Catherine Church, Lübeck, a church that belonged to a former monastery, now the Katharineum, a Latin school.
Thomas Mann's house.
Günter Grass' house.
Church of St. Peter (Petrikirche).
Church of St. Lawrence, located on the site of a cemetery of people who died during the 16th century plague.
Church of St. Jacob (Lübecker Jakobikirche, 1334).
Church of St. Aegidien (Aegidienkirche).
the Salzspeicher, historic warehouses where salt delivered from Lüneburg awaited shipment to Baltic ports.
Like many other places in Germany, Lübeck has a long tradition of a Christmas market in December, which includes the famous handicrafts market inside the Heiligen-Geist-Hospital (Hospital of the Holy Spirit), located at the northern end of Königstrasse.
