Bikinis and Beers in English Garden Germany!!!
Lazy Summer in Munich is the best! All I did was chill, go to the English Garden which is considered as their beach already because they don't have it in Munich and what's cool is that it's right in the center of the city where you can enjoy a good beer, do some tanning and meet new people!

8. THE JANUS CUP
As a young boy, John Webber of Dorchester, England was given a small cup with two faces on it by his grandfather, who was a scrap metal dealer. He didn’t think to investigate the item’s worth - after all, while scrap metal retains some value, it usually won’t land someone a fortune, and Webber simply assumed the cup was made out of a material his grandfather typically worked with, such as bronze or brass.
7. ROMAN-ERA PIZZERIA DECOR
In 2007, a wooden stand sitting outside the bathrooms of the North Yorkshire, England branch of the ASK pizzeria chain caught the eye of a customer, who decided to photograph and investigate the item. The giltwood carving featured garlands and youths, and while it had gone unnoticed by many, something about it piqued this person’s curiosity.
6. THE DEVON MOONSTONE
In 1950, a family purchased a home in Sussex, England from a Sri Lankan tea farmer. The property contained a semi-circular, four-by-eight foot (1.2 x 1.5 meters) granite stone weighing nearly a ton. On its surface, the stone depicted animals such as cows, horses, lions, elephants, and birds, along with flowers and foliage. From thereon out, whenever the family moved, they brought the stone with them.
5. THE SLEEPING LADY
One day in 2009, Hungarian art historian Gergely Barki put the children’s movie Stuart Little on for his bored daughter, Lola. In the background of the movie set, he noticed a painting that he recognized as a Hungarian avant-garde masterpiece that had been missing since 1928.
4. THE PETRIE POT
Sometime during the 1950’s, a man who owed fare money to English taxi driver Charles Funnell, paid him instead with a strange little pot. Attached to the pot was a card identifying the red and black artifact as “Libyan Pottery” dating back to 3,000 BC that had been discovered sometime between 1894 and 1895 by Professor WM Flinders Petrie.
3. Roman Moratorium Turned Birdbath
In 2006, a resident of Alcester, England named Ray Taylor found a flat, clay bowl in his garden while digging for rhubarb and decided to use it as a bird bath. For the next decade or so, that’s where it remained. When Taylor’s daughter, Rebecca, visited the Roman Alcester Heritage Museum, she noticed several similar items on display, and suggested for her dad to take his makeshift bird bath there to learn more.
2. THE LEICESTER STONE
When archaeologist and television host James Balme noticed a dirty, old garden ornament for sale in Leicester, England, he had an unexplainable-yet-sneaking suspicion that the item was not just a worthless lawn trinket. He purchased the heavy sandstone block and noticed, after cleaning it, that it contained complex engravings that may represent a form of writing.
1. BLENHEIM SARCOPHAGUS
In 2016, an antiques expert noticed a unique flower pot as he strolled through the gardens of Blenheim Palace, the Oxfordshire, England birthplace and ancestral home of Sir Winston Churchill.

The Gardens Bungalow ~ Abandoned & Doomed
Help to Date This Bungalow? 1950s, early 60s maybe? after my short explore, my later research turned up next to nothing on it's past, but a little on it's future, which is kind of what you would expect from today's profiteering developers. Info reads as the following: (Planning Applications for The Gardens.
Application received on 21 October 2015
Application validated on 11 November 2015
Consultation ended on 2 December 2015, Demolition of existing dwelling and associated out buildings. Erection of 2 no. blocks containing 10 flats with associated access, car parking, cycle storage, refuse storage and garden amenity.);
This property was once well hidden from view, but i'm sure it enjoyed some nice views before the surrounding tree's matured, looking at the past on google street view, from as far back as 2008 it was well hidden by the trees & shrubs up until around 2014/15 when the ground clearance commenced.
An internet property search describes the dwelling as a Bungalow, Freehold, 1 Bed, 1 Bath, 1 Recept, but i definitely went into 2 small bedrooms. The property really had few clues as to when it was built, or when it was vacated, The Bathroom suite is a salmon pink affair Twyford Advent model. Twyfords which were a pioneering historic company which were in business from (1680 to 1982) Contrary to popular legend, Sir Thomas Crapper did not invent the flush toilet. He was, however, in the forefront of the industry in the late 19th century. Other successful pioneers were Alexander Cumming, Joseph Bramah, George Jennings & Thomas William Twyford. A History of the Twyfords 1680-1982, is an interesting read in your w.c. with absolutely no toilet humor at all:)
The newspaper & comic strip on the bathroom floor can only tell us when the approx date the floor covering was last put down. Hägar the Horrible is the title and main character of an American comic strip created by cartoonist Dik Browne (1917–1989), and syndicated by King Features Syndicate. It first appeared in February 1973, and was an immediate success. Since Browne's retirement in 1988 (and subsequent death), his son Chris Browne has continued the strip. As of 2010, Hägar is distributed to 1,900 newspapers in 58 countries and translated into 13 languages. The strip is a caricature and loose interpretation of Viking Age Scandinavian life.
The Newspaper has a couple of what i think are sports related articles, Jerry Quarry or a younger boxing family relative? (the boxer counted out on a knockdown by Canadian George Chuvalo, at New York's Madison Square Gardens, but in Dec 12th 1969) In round 7 Quarry was knocked down by a left hook on the top of the head. He rose at the count of 3, but decided to take a knee to rest & recover, he got up at the count of 10 instead of 9 and referee Zach Clayton declared the fight over at 2:59. He said the crowd were so loud, he could not hear the count properly.
The other Roberts article could be Baseball (unlikely in the UK) Cricket maybe?
The Newspaper also has an article relating to the political scandal surrounding the Westland Helicopter company...in brief:) The Westland affair in 1985–86 was an episode in which the British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and her Defence Minister Michael Heseltine went public over a complex cabinet dispute with questions raised about integrity and which a senior official was not telling the truth. The argument was a result of differences of opinion as to the future of the British helicopter industry. Westland Helicopters, Britain's last helicopter manufacturer, was to be the subject of a rescue bid. While the Defence Secretary Heseltine favoured a European solution, integrating Westland and British Aerospace (BAe) with Italian (Agusta) and French companies, the Prime Minister and the Trade and Industry Secretary Leon Brittan wanted to see Westland merge with Sikorsky, an American company. It resulted in resignations in January 1986 by Heseltine and Brittan. The episode embarrassed the Conservative government of Margaret Thatcher in 1986 and damaged her reputation.
The loft space had little in it to help with the date, apart from a couple of boxes, one with the company name Burco on it, The Baby Burco Wash boiler is dated from 1950s onwards
Belling had been at the heart of British cooking for almost a century and is proud to say that four generations of cooks have grown up with a Belling appliance in their kitchen. Established in 1912 by Charles Reginald Belling, Both of those Brands are now owned by The Glen Dimplex Group, Founded in 1973, is a leading international group. I'm non the wiser on a date, if anyone has any idea's on the build date, please feel free to add your thoughts in the comments.
As Always...Enjoy & Thank You for watching/commenting.

Hatfield House accommodation video
Hatfield house is on a slope and accommodation is arranged over two floors with bedrooms and garden below and living accommodation above with entrances at both levels.
The main entrance takes you straight into a spacious and cheerful country kitchen/ diner with original wide floorboards, fitted aqua green units and pretty mosaic tiles. In Pride of place is a vast range style cooker with a 6 ring hob and 2 ovens. A large picture window has lively views of the Kennet and Avon Canal, Camden Crescent on the Northern slopes and, Bathwick Hill to the South. There is plenty of cooking and kitchen equipment, alongside a nespresso coffee maker (supplied with coffee pods) and a digital radio, for relaxed mornings lingering over the papers. The kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher, large fridge and separate freezer, and a generous selection of seasonings along with some useful cookbooks. A large dining table seats up to 8 with a jolly selection of painted chairs.
The living room has glorious views of Bath city, featuring the Abbey, St Michael’s Church, The Empire buildings and Pulteney Bridge. This cosy room has an original cast iron fireplace stacked with logs to use on chilly evenings, a TV and DVD along with a good selection of books and films on alcove bookcases either side of the fire place. The furnishings are in fresh soft green linens, with a large sofa for 2, an armchair, a wide loveseat and a footstool.
At this level is a large family bathroom tiled in aqua green with a cast iron roll-top bath, a small corner shower, a hand basin and WC. Large original sash windows with working shutters overlook the garden.
Downstairs is light and spacious with a separate garden entrance. The main bedroom elegantly furnished in silver and green, has a 5’ king bed with two decorative chests of drawers on either side. Alcoves beside the window have shelves with a selection of novels, a hanging rail and storage shelf. An etched glass door leads to a compact, fully tiled wet room with a hand basin and WC at one end and a comfortable showering area at the other with a tiled shelf space for toiletries.
A large comfortable twin room in pale grey and orange with a big fluffy rug and armchair has two single 3’ beds which can zip together to become a 6’ super king bed, a chest of drawers, a writing bureau and an alcove with built in wardrobe providing plenty of hanging space. Two windows here have views into the garden and towards Widcome as well as views of the city through the trees.
A pretty single room in soft grey and turquoise has a single 3’ bed with cast iron bed, a chest of drawers, digital radio, hanging rail and small bench with some storage under. A large window has bright views into the garden.
A utility cupboard at this level has a washing machine with plenty of shelf space for laundry and towels.
Outside is a large level family garden. Sunny and protected, it is a natural sun-trap, with a good sized lawn for games, a couple of sun loungers, a BBQ and an outdoor table and seating for 8 overlooking the canal.
There is a designated parking space for 1 car a few minutes’ walk from the property. You can pull up out front the property to unload and load but please be aware the lane up to the property is very narrow and it is difficult to turn around at the end if there are cars parked at the end of the lane.
The local facilities in Widcombe Parade are very good and include a newsagent, chemist, coffee shop, hairdressers, florists, and several pubs, restaurants and Indian, Chinese and American takeaways. There is a convenience store only a minutes’ walk from the property at the start of Widcombe Parade. The footpath bridge after Widcombe parade takes you to the train station and the start of Bath high street where you will find numerous shops, restaurants, bars and Marks and Spencers for your food shop. The City has many historic sites and museums and galleries. Nearby National Trust owned Prior Park Gardens has a lovely walk to a palladium bridge, or explore rural footpaths across the hills above Widcombe for flower filled meadows, hidden churches, manor houses and stunning views of Bath - part of the Bath Skyline walk. Bath Narrowboats rent barges and bikes to explore the city or the Kennet and Avon canal and towpath. After all the activity, pamper yourselves in the piping hot pools of the Thermae Spa, or enjoy a night at The Theatre Royal or Komedia Comedy Club.
