Noel & Bob Conscious Evolution - Birth2012 Tour
Birth 2012: In the Rearview Mirror
Posted December 14, 2013
Looking in the rearview mirror after completing Birth2012 presentations in all 48 states and parts of Canada, we learned a lot about ourselves and others. After all, we did call it the Conscious (Self) Evolution Tour. For a fun look at our tour -- here is a 2-minute animation of our travels: Bob & Noel Birth2012 Tour.
We were asked by The Shift Network's Stephen Dinan what we learned about HUBS on our Tour. Most, if not all, of the things we learned about ourselves, we saw mirrored in those we served. The first learning block was overcoming the whisper of the ego of powerlessness. Who are you, Noel and Bob, to be presenting about Birth2012, it asked. You're not 'recognized' spiritual teachers. People won't attend, etc. Our first lesson, and those of HUB leaders, was to own our power and answer that Voice that beckons one to step forward and serve.
How? We took one step at a time. We fondly remember a HUB leader who wanted to have a presentation in her community, but was afraid because she had just moved there and didn't have many contacts. We told her it would be a success inspired by Jesus' teaching: For wherever two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. We thought, Well, there's two of us and one of you, so now the three of us just have to step back and watch the magic happen. Guess what? We had five events in four days in her area! Our learning was to step out and the Universe will support us!
Although all the HUBS looked and felt unique across the country, they all shared a common value: a strong desire to connect, fueled by the evolutionary impulse to come together and uplift Humanity. Frequently, we heard HUB leaders say: I can't find my people. It became almost amusing to watch as HUBS formed around the Birth2012 message. Once a co-creator stepped out, peeps from all walks of life showed up. Over and over we heard: I never knew there were so many people that felt like I do. Thank you for helping me find my family!
On a practical level, we found that the events that were most well-attended involved food! We found that coming together and celebrating a meal together - as well as the Birth2012 message - was very complementary. It also sparked a lot of inter-generational sharing.
At one hub event, a six-year-old became our teacher, sharing his upset over oil-soaked ducks after an oil spill and he pleaded for action by adults. At another hub event at a nursing home in Alabama, a 97-year old retired minister invited us to dinner. She chided us: If I knew you were coming, I would have packed this place! That night, and since, she has continued to share Barbara Marx Hubbard's movie, Our Story in her assisted living community bringing more residents into her HUB.
Over the course of our six-month tour, we brought our Light, the Birth2012 message, and created a spark in close to 100 unique gatherings. Since then, the two of us have continued to present, whenever invited, to this day. As LightPartners, we continue to support those we met through a monthly newsletter, as well as the Co-Creator's Convergence (CCC) group that emerged when Barbara received the Spiritual Leadership Award presented by Neale Donald Walsch and Humanity's Team. Our CCC is an open group and we offer bi-monthly calls, a Facebook community and an annual gathering at Sunrise Ranch in Loveland, Colorado. As LightPartners, we continue to serve HUBS. You can find us online at LightPartners.org where our mission is to serve our one sacred life.

BROTHEL The Perfect Recession Proof Business
BROTHEL - The Perfect Recession Proof Business?
Recession hits the brothel business
One Nevada madam says clients no longer have as much money to spend, and she worries about the fiscal cliff negotiations in Washington.
he world's oldest profession took a hit during the recession as customers were forced to cut back on their, uh, entertainment expenses. But just when a recovery seemed under way, even prostitution has become a victim of the fiscal cliff, CNBC reports.
In this video, the madam who runs the famous Mustang Ranch brothel in Nevada says business has been better. Susan Austin thought prostitution would be recession-proof, but that didn't happen.
When a lot of my high rollers all of a sudden discovered they didn't have the discretionary income and they couldn't play as hard as they used to, well that definitely dug into their wallets which definitely affected us, she told CNBC's Jane Wells.Image: Couple holding hands (Corbis/Corbis)
The company doesn't count prostitutes among its employees. Instead, the prostitutes work as independent contractors that negotiate prices with customers and then pay Mustang Ranch a commission, Wells reports. If customers decide to use one of the larger, nicely decorated suites, it can add $1,000 to their bill.
The Ranch has been forced to drop prices on its Pleasure Menu. And though it's tough to imagine the fiscal cliff being a top conversation topic there, Austin seems to be worried about the potential of higher taxes and a heavier burden on the rich that the fiscal cliff may bring.
Anything that happens in Washington affects everybody in the United states, she said. It's going to trickle down to me sooner or later. So it's definitely going to hurt me in the end.
Nevada has been hit harder than any other state in the downturn. Last month, it had the highest unemployment rate and the second highest foreclosure rate in the country.
Las Vegas is slowly recovering.
Further north, there's still a fiscal Reno 911.
Nevada's second largest city calls itself The Biggest Little City in the World. Situated near Lake Tahoe, the recession hit Reno almost has hard as it hit Las Vegas. The recovery has been even slower.
It's been a very difficult go, said real estate developer Lance Gilman.
Gilman may have the most diverse resume in America. He's a former Harley-Davidson dealer and a veteran real estate developer. He and a partner have built the 30,000-acre Tahoe Reno Industrial Center, a major manufacturing and distribution hub for Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, PetSmart, and dozens of other companies.
There's no debt on this park, he proudly claimed, there's not even a credit line.
Gilman was recently elected to the Storey County Commission, home to Virginia City of Bonanza fame. But his most famous venture is the Mustang Ranch, Nevada's first licensed brothel. Gilman bought the business in 2003. It's as normal a service business as there is on Earth today.
Motorized Bicycles in Nevada -- Are there special rules and regulations?

MOTORIZED BICYCLES
Nevada law does not define what a motorized bicycle is, but the term typically refers to electric bicycles and mopeds.
Both electric bike riders and moped drivers are required to stay on the right side of the road unless it would be unsafe to do so. Otherwise, Nevada’s laws are very different depending on whether you are on an electric bike or a moped. Here are four things to know:
1. Electric bikes should go no faster than 20 miles per hour. In contrast, mopeds should go no faster than 30 miles per hour. If your electric bike is going more than 20 miles per hour, traffic police will treat you as if you are driving a moped.
2. Protective headgear is not required for electric bike riders, but a helmet is required for moped riders.
3. Electric bicyclists do not need a driver’s license, but moped rides do need a standard class C driver’s license.
4. Electric bicyclists are not required to register their electric bikes with the DMV, but moped drivers are required to register their mopeds with the DMV.

Are BB guns legal in Nevada? (by Las Vegas criminal defense attorneys)
Top Las Vegas criminal defense attorney discusses whether it is legal to use BB guns in Nevada.

ARE BB GUNS LEGAL IN NEVADA?
We get a lot of calls from people who have prior felonies and want to know if they can have a BB gun. The answer, usually, is yes because BB guns are not firearms. However, BB guns are arguably considered deadly or dangerous weapons and are therefore highly restricted. Here are five important things to know about BB guns in Nevada law.
1) Under NRS 202.265, pneumatic BB guns are generally prohibited on school and childcare property.
2) Under NRS 202.350, a current and valid CCW permit is usually required to conceal carry a pneumatic BB gun.
3) Under NRS 202.290, it is illegal to aim “any gun” – which arguably includes BB guns – at a person, even if the gun isn’t loaded.
4) Under NRS 202.320, it is illegal to draw a deadly weapon, which arguably includes BB guns, in a rude, angry, or threatening manner, even if nobody gets hurt.
5) Under NRS 193.165, defendants convicted of crimes such as robbery or burglary may face a longer prison sentence if they used or possessed a BB gun during the offense.

DO I NEED A LAWYER IF MY CHILD HAS BEEN ARRESTED IN NEVADA?
It is highly recommended. The long-term ramifications of having a criminal record are huge, and it can hinder the child's educational and employment opportunities. Therefore it is vital that the child has proper representation to try to minimize the consequences of juvenile delinquencies. Parents should intervene at an early stage to try to resolve. a juvenile criminal matter by hiring an attorney.

(Wendell Williams reader with photo) Secretary of State Ross Miller today forwarded a case to the Nevada Attorney General's office to pursue payment of fines levied against former State Assemblyman Wendell Williams as a result of campaign law violations. Campaign finance reform is a priority in my administration, said Miller. Mr. Williams' failure to file campaign contribution and expense reports for the 2002 election cycle and pay subsequent fines is not something we take lightly. His failure to file the required reports, and his subsequent failure to pay the civil penalties associated with the violation by fulfilling his obligations under the payment agreement he entered into with this office clearly necessitate aggressive collection efforts. We're prepared to take whatever steps are necessary to collect the remaining $9,500 that Williams owes to the State of Nevada as well as any interest, attorney's fees and costs incurred as a result of his failure to meet his payment obligations.
