Graves Island Provincial Park Nova Scotia
This is one in my series of Nova Scotia Provincial parks. We ended up camping here over the Thanksgiving weekend (Canadian one in October). This is one of many nice camping parks in the area.
They have great trails that are groomed for hiking and biking. If you are looking for a good place to camp while on the south shore of Nova Scotia check this place out.
While in the area there are many places to check out like Oak Island, Chester, Liverpool, Gold River.

McNutts Island Shelburne Nova Scotia Camping 2016 Sat Photos
This video was short during a camping trip to McNutts Island located in Shelburne Nova Scotia's Harbour. There was a very short window for drone video because of winds. I included 2 rarely seen photos of McNutts while the guns were begin placed there. Mostly this is a video for the guys that went and the fun we had. Hope you enjoy.
Nova Scotia Provincial Park Tour part 1
Quick day trip around the south shore of Nova Scotia to scout out locations at a few Provincial Parks. We visited Thomas Raddall, The Islands, Ellenwood and Valleyview.
Thomas Raddall had the largest sites and of course access to the beach.
The Islands had many sites on top of each other, this would be a nice spot if 2 or 3 people had trailers that they could take up a corner. You are along the water. However, it is very close the Shelburne - it had the party atmosphere to it.
Ellenwood was very interesting. Nice sites, you had to check in, all sized sites.
Valleyview was in the Middleton area and was closest to the amenities and offered the awesome view. They have put in a lot of work in this park and in the sites. The biggest issue is that the sites are small and really best suited for pop-up trailers or slightly bigger. #avoidingchores

A quick teaser of upcoming website posts from our 2010 thirty-eight day camping trip to the east coast of Canada. The preview will give you a taste of upcoming posts filled with information and photography. Starting June 1st, 2019 we will be publishing two new posts from our trip, from start to finish.
After about a 2500 kilometre drive from Southwestern Ontario to Cape Breton Island, we started our adventure with a one week stay at the Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
Then we set off on an overnight ferry to Newfoundland. Our first week we spend at the tip of the island, exploring St. Anthony's and the surrounding areas.
We pack up the camping gear and drive south to the amazing Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland. What an amazing place. Newfoundland was so beautiful and the people were so amazing, we didn't want to leave!
Back on the ferry to spend a week camping at The Islands Provincial Park near Shelburne, Nova Scotia. We made a quick stop at Mountain Equipment Co-op in Halifax to grab some supplies!
We then checked out Parrsboro, Cape Chignecto and Joggins Cliff.
After the planned number of days was up, we couldn't help ourselves, we booked a cottage on Prince Edward Island for a three-day stay!
The trip was prior to focusing on videos so do head to our website @ naturelover.ca to read all of the upcoming blog posts from our trip. Lots of photography and information about the locations!
