Years ago, Hudson suffered from a changing economy and lost manufacturing jobs. Today, it thrives as a center of art, food and entertainment in the Hudson Valley.
⁴ᴷ⁶⁰ Walking NYC (Narrated) : Canal Street, Manhattan in its Entirety from Chinatown to Hudson River
Google Maps Route:
In this video, I walk Manhattan's Canal Street in its Entirety from Chinatown to the Hudson River. I begin my walk by exiting the East Broadway subway station on the F line.
From Wikipedia:
Canal Street is a major east–west street in Lower Manhattan, New York City, running from East Broadway between Essex and Jefferson Streets in the east, to West Street between Watts and Spring Streets in the west. It runs through the neighborhood of Chinatown, and forms the southern boundaries of SoHo and Little Italy as well as the northern boundary of Tribeca. The street acts as a major connector between Jersey City, New Jersey, via the Holland Tunnel (I-78), and Brooklyn, New York City, via the Manhattan Bridge. It is a two-way street for most of its length – from West Street to the Manhattan Bridge – with two unidirectional stretches between Forsyth Street and the Manhattan Bridge.

⁴ᴷ Walking Tour of Lexington Avenue, Manhattan, NYC from 59th Street to 14th Street
GPS Overlay version:
Enjoy this NYC Walking Tour of Manhattan's Lexington Avenue from 59th Street to 14th Street.
From Wikipedia:
Lexington Avenue, often colloquially abbreviated as Lex, is an avenue on the East Side of the borough of Manhattan in New York City that carries southbound one-way traffic from East 131st Street to Gramercy Park at East 21st Street. Along its 5.5-mile (8.9-kilometer), 110-block route, Lexington Avenue runs through Harlem, Carnegie Hill, the Upper East Side, Midtown, and Murray Hill to a point of origin that is centered on Gramercy Park. South of Gramercy Park, the axis continues as Irving Place from 20th Street to East 14th Street.
Lexington Avenue was not one of the streets included in the Commissioners' Plan of 1811 street grid, so the addresses for cross streets do not start at an even hundred number, as they do with avenues that were originally part of the plan.

John Jay Homestead
This animation is part of a series of videos about the life and death of John Jay. Each video represented an era of his life including his time as Govener of New York, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, and Chief Justice. The series continues with John Jay's children and grand children who maintained the estate after his death.
About the exhibit:
Near the entrance of John Jay's sprawling, 62-acre estate is an old carriage barn that has been restored and remade into a visitor center. As part of an introduction to Jay's life, Redmon created orientation stations where visitors can explore interactive media of his experiences as a diplomat and the first Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court.

What will happen if the united states split up in urdu/ hindi || True Righter
The year is 2019. California’s new governor, Gavin Newsom, recently elected on a platform that included support for the creation of a single-payer health-care system, now must figure out how to enact it. A prior nonpartisan analysis priced it at $400 billion per year — twice the state’s current budget. There appears to be no way to finance such a plan without staggering new taxes, making California a magnet for those with chronic illnesses just as its tax rates send younger, healthier Californians house-hunting in Nevada and big tech employers consider leaving the state.
But Newsom is not alone. Other governors have made similar promises, and Newsom calls together the executives of the most ideologically like-minded states — Oregon, Washington, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland. What if they banded to create a sole unified single-payer health-care system, spreading risk around a much larger pool of potential patients while creating uniformity across some of the country’s wealthiest states?
Fifteen end up forming an interstate compact, a well-established mechanism for working together, explicitly introduced in the Constitution. They sketch out the contours of a common health-care market: a unified single-payer regime with start-up costs funded in part by the largest issue ever to hit the municipal-bond market. The governors agree, as well, on a uniform payroll tax and a new tax on millionaires and corporations set to the same rate with revenues earmarked for health-care costs. The Trump administration has already proved willing to grant waivers to states looking to experiment beyond the Affordable Care Act’s standards — primarily for the benefit of those seeking to offer plans on their exchanges with skimpier coverage. But the states can’t act unilaterally: The Supreme Court has ruled that Congress must approve establishment of any compact claiming authority that previously resided with the federal government.
Newsom pressures his friend House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi to introduce a bill that would give the compact all federal money that flows into its constituent states for health-care costs. Pelosi’s members from Arizona and Florida balk at the proposal, which they fear would enable their states’ Republican governors to gut Obamacare protections. But there are scores more from states looking to join the compact, and their governors marshal Democratic House delegations into a bloc. The bill passes the House, with the support of tea-party Republicans eager to strike a blow against federal power.
When it reaches the Senate, the initiative comes from Republicans. In 2011, then–Texas governor Rick Perry championed a Health Care Compact Alliance, joined by eight other states seeking a “regulatory shield” against the Affordable Care Act and full control over their Medicare and Medicaid funds. By the time the Democratic bill passes the House, current Texas governor Greg Abbott has rallied more than 20 states, including North Carolina, Missouri, and Arizona, for a new version of the Health Care Compact. He also has the support of two prominent senators, Ted Cruz and Majority Whip John Cornyn. Republicans who had promised for nearly a decade to repeal and replace Obamacare can finally deliver on the promise — for 40 percent of the country.
The president sees opportunity, too. While running for president, Donald Trump called himself “Mr. Brexit,” a boast tied to his apocryphal claim of having accurately predicted the British vote to leave the European Union. Now he’s convinced, thanks largely to a Fox & Friends chyron reading BIGGER THAN BREXIT?, that an even more significant world-historical accomplishment is within reach. Trump lobbies Pelosi and Mitch McConnell to combine their bills. Trump beams at the Rose Garden signing ceremony, calling it “the biggest deal ever” as he goads Pelosi and McConnell into an awkward handshake. Historians will later mark it as the first step in our nation’s slow breakup, the conscious uncoupling of these United States.

Driving Downtown Streets - Royal Street - New Orleans Louisiana USA - Episode 45.
Starting Point: Royal Street - .
Royal Street is a street in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is one of the oldest streets in the city, dating from the French colonial era, and is known today for its antique shops, art galleries, and stately hotels. Royal Street is the best known street in the French Quarter besides Bourbon Street.
The portion of Rue Royale in the upper French Quarter (toward Canal Street) is known for its dozens of opulent antique shops and art galleries. The prices at its art shops and antique stores tend to be very high; indeed, it has been listed as one of the world's most expensive places to shop. The finer antique shops display not simply items that are old, but such rare items as pieces of fine furniture owned by royalty of past centuries. Although such pieces are beyond the budget of all but a few, window shopping along Royal Street is a popular pastime, especially for art lovers. The 700 block of Royal features the galleries of New Orleans-based artists Ally Burguieres and George Rodrigue.
The portion of Royal Street between St. Louis and St. Ann streets is closed to traffic every afternoon to create a pedestrian zone. During this time, numerous street performers set up there. Although the music performance quality ranges widely, some of the best up-and-coming jazz bands in New Orleans can be heard.
Despite catastrophic damage in most of New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Royal Street was spared the great flood, other than the section in the Lower 9th Ward. The French Quarter, originally the city itself, was built upon naturally-higher ground next to a curve in the Mississippi River.
New Orleans is a major United States port and the largest city and metropolitan area in the state of Louisiana.
The city is named after the Duke of Orleans, who reigned as Regent for Louis XV from 1715 to 1723, as it was established by French colonists and strongly influenced by their European culture. It is well known for its distinct French and Spanish Creole architecture, as well as its cross-cultural and multilingual heritage.[8] New Orleans is also famous for its cuisine, music (particularly as the birthplace of jazz),[9][10] and its annual celebrations and festivals, most notably Mardi Gras, dating to French colonial times. The city is often referred to as the most unique[11] in the United States.
New Orleans is located in southeastern Louisiana, straddling the Mississippi River. The city and Orleans Parish (French: paroisse d'Orléans) are coterminous.[17] The city and parish are bounded by the parishes of St. Tammany to the north, St. Bernard to the east, Plaquemines to the south, and Jefferson to the south and west.[17][18][19] Lake Pontchartrain, part of which is included in the city limits, lies to the north and Lake Borgne lies to the east.[19]
Before Hurricane Katrina, Orleans Parish was the most populous parish in Louisiana. It now[when?] ranks third in population, trailing neighboring Jefferson Parish, and East Baton Rouge Parish.
Tourism
New Orleans has many visitor attractions, from the world-renowned French Quarter; to St. Charles Avenue, (home of Tulane and Loyola Universities, the historic Pontchartrain Hotel, and many 19th-century mansions); to Magazine Street, with its boutique stores and antique shops.
The French Quarter (known locally as the Quarter or Vieux Carré), which was the colonial-era city and is bounded by the Mississippi River, Rampart Street, Canal Street, and Esplanade Avenue, contains many popular hotels, bars, and nightclubs. Notable tourist attractions in the Quarter include Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, St. Louis Cathedral, the French Market (including Café du Monde, famous for café au lait and beignets), and Preservation Hall. Also in the French Quarter is the old New Orleans Mint, a former branch of the United States Mint which now operates as a museum, and The Historic New Orleans Collection, a museum and research center housing art and artifacts relating to the history of New Orleans and the Gulf South.
Washington D.C. - City Video Guide
Washington D.C. is situated on the east coast of the USA, along the banks of the Potomac River.

The Mall is also home to many of the nation's Smithsonian buildings, including the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.
Reflecting Pool is surrounded by tributes to its heroes and founding fathers, including the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial.
Washington D.C.'s Capital Bikeshare system makes it easy to reach downtown neighborhoods such as DuPont Circle and Foggy Bottom.
Georgetown is the oldest district in Washington D.C. Wisconsin Avenue and M Street have boutique stores and galleries. To the north is the National Cathedral, the Smithsonian National Zoo and the International Spy Museum.
Just across the Potomac is Arlington National Cemetery.

Viscountess Chinda was the wife of the Japanese ambassador. She and Mrs. Taft planted the first two cherry trees at the Tidal Basin March 27th 1912
The ceremony of planting these trees grew into the National Cherry Blossom Festival
This special part of history is celebrated through many events and is also commemorated with a large, bronze plaque at the site of the first planting
Also of importance is Dr. David Fairchild, a prominent botanist who planted the first cherry trees in D.C.
