The Kernel Brewery:
The brewery springs from the need to have more good beer. Beer deserving of a certain attention. Beer that forces you to confront and consider what you are drinking. Upfront hops, lingering bitternesses, warming alcohols, bodies of malt. Lengths and depths of flavour. We make Pale Ales, India Pale Ales and old school London Porters and Stouts towards these ends. Bottled alive, to give them time to grow.

The Kernel Brewery: Interview with Evin O'Riordain by Tales of Ales
The first in a series of interviews with brewers in London for the Tales of Ales blog, we speak with Evin O'Riordain from the Kernel Brewery.
It's Beer o'Clock: Kernel Brewery Review
This is our first review video filmed at the Craft Beer Store in Hamburg, Germany. It's attached to the Ratsherrn brewery and a great location to film in. We are covering some beers from the Kernel Brewery in London today. We start off with Table Beer and then rapidly move up through the Pale Ales, I.P.A.s and finally finish with the Export India Porter.
On The Road Vol. 33 - London, England (The Kernel & Partizan Brewing)
When I had the opportunity to travel to London for work, I took some days off from work and flew out earlier to see the city. Rob Derbyshire of Hopzine was kind enough to travel down from his part of the U.K. and take me on a brewery tour of London. We were also joined by his friend Neil Walker, who is a national press manager for CAMRA.

Thrillist - London Fields Brewery - London, UK
Ideas hatched over a beer rarely come to fruition, though they must at least motivate you to some sort of action, or else Gazza would do, like, nothing. Actually following through -- and ensuring you probably won't -- the fellows behind London Fields Brewery.
Conceived by a pair of barley-pop enthusiasts over a pint of the very thing they're so enthusiastic about, Fields is housed in an open East London space with its own outdoor seating area, where they'll be crafting six different beers, a number whittled down to after an initial experimental mass fermenting effort -- oddly not a euphemism for uni. The final half dozen count an easy drinking session ale, an unfiltered lager, the bold Hackney Hopstar IPA, and Love Not War ale, recently concocted whilst barricaded inside during the riots, imagining no possessions. To launch the place in style, they're bringing you three full days of partying this weekend (no RSVP -- just show up), with festivity enhancers including a full hog roast, a wood-fired pizza oven, a live band busting out jazz, folk & blues, and the first public tasting of their various bevs, which will be ready, lest they literally fail to organize a piss-up at a brewery.
Pretty soon, you'll be able to buy the suds online and in local bars, as well as direct from the brewery via a swap-a-crate scheme that'll see them give discounts for refilling used bottles, provided you didn't break yours whilst tackling your demons.
