20m + Jumps while riding the 2019 F One Bandit 8m at Camber Sands with The Kitesurf Centre
Tristan jumping over 20m while kitesurfing at Camber Sands in 40+ knots on the 2019 F One Bandit 8m and a Shinn Toyboy. Perfect boosting weather with pretty consistent wind and good kickers to launch off with flat-ish water between.
Everyone else is blown off the water on their 5 & 6m kites, which means it's time to send it and go big....
Filmed on a go pro mouth mount, it's a bit bumpy so I'll use the chest mount next time!
Camber Sands has consistent winds through the summer so it's the perfect day for beginners. The beach is big, sandy with shallow water. Normal conditions are 15 - 25 knots and the best months are May to October as thermal winds make it very consistent.
It's generally much stronger in the winter which is great for boosting but it's much more irregular and difficult to find days which are good for teaching lessons.

I know i recently made a video called the same thing just about Camber Sands, but according to a few people Old Hunstanton is a much better beach for kitesurfing. Even the best kitesurfing beach in england.
Kitesurfing is a sport that is hugely weather dependant. and from what I heard in Hunstanton you can fly you kite on more than just one wind direction making it a better kitesurfing beach.
I made this video for fun neither me or my brother ( the person in the video ) are professionals.
Old Hunstanton is a very long and shallow beach, making it perfect for kitesurfing and kitesurfing beginners! You also get a lot of competition as it ca be seen from the video!

Last week I went down to catch up with Aaron Hadlow and Lewis Crathern in their local spot to film some UK storm riding action for Hadlow's new #HADLOW20 that will be dropping this summer. Its always hard to get these sorts of shots as its usualy miserable weather, wet, windy and UK beaches are not always nice to shoot on. However we had a wicked few days, stacked some banger clips and caught up with the local Duotone store to see what was going down!

Great family day at Camber Sands, East Sussex, UK
Camber Sands beach is the village of Camber, East Sussex near Rye, East Sussex, England. Its popular with locals and visitors alike, and is know for it wide beach and its sand dunes, which are the only ones in in East Sussex.
It is reachable as a day trip from London, but get there early!. It is very popular on a beautiful day out, and although there is a lot of parking available overall, the main parking next to the beach and eateries fill up fast, which can mean quite a hike to go the toilet or feed those lunch time hunger pains.
Overall a great day out for a young family.

Kitelooping down Camber beach on a plastic storage box. This was using an old Fone 2 16m, lots of fun but not a lot of depower so only a lightwind sport. After an evening bbq at the beach for The Kitesurf Centre instructors, this is a great way to chill out in the light conditions
