The Living Rainforest is an indoor greenhouse tropical rainforest located in Hampstead Norreys in Berkshire, England. It is an ecological centre, educational centre and visitor attraction consisting of three glasshouses, operated and run by the Trust for Sustainable Living.

The ‘Newbury Martyrs’ Died for the Protestant Cause, 1556.
462 years ago three Protestant people were burnt to death near this spot for their beliefs. Some say this was under the instigation of Jack-O’Newbury, a person the Newbury Society and Newbury Town Council, now want to commemorate with a bronze statue in Northbrook Street.
