This video shows 3 or 4 young Swallows that have fledged from their nest and are safely roosting and growing stronger, whilst sat on the beams in the upper space of the porch of a stunning church in Woodland.
Woodland is a dispersed hamlet within the civil parish of Broughton West in the Furness region of Cumbria, England, and is located in the southern part of the Lake District National Park, west of Coniston Water, between Torver and Broughton-in-Furness.
Woodland is today served only by the Anglican Church of Saint John the Evangelist from St Mary Magdalene's Church, Broughton-in-Furness in the Diocese of Carlisle, Cumbria.
The church building was erected in 1864–65 and parsonage in 1868-69, both to the design of the architect Edward Graham Paley.
Previous buildings were erected on the same site in 1698 and 1822.

The Man - Wolf by Émile ERCKMANN | Full Audiobook
The Man-Wolf by Émile ERCKMANN and Alexandre CHATRIAN
The Man-Wolf is a 38,000 word novella that appears in the English language collection of short stories entitled, The Man-Wolf and Other Tales. The other tales in that collection were not recorded for this project. The Man-Wolf is a gothic tale of lycanthropy authored by the French writing duo of Emile Erckmann and Alexandre Chatrian. Obviously this is an early version of the popular werewolf narrative, but it certainly is not the first. In fact, the lycanthropy mythology go back at least as far as the first century A. D. Listen and compare what you know of the modern-day werewolf story with what Erckmann and Chatrian imagined. - Summary by James K. White
Genre(s): Gothic Fiction
