After golfing at Prestwick earlier in the day we were heading out to the pub after supper and I met a lassy at the Marine Hotel who saw my pipes and asked if I would play a tune for her friend. They were celebrating her 50th birthday at the Two Fat Lady's restaurant. How could I refuse? I play it up for the Scottish patrons with the crowd pleasing Flower of Scotland accompanied by some singing near the end and Scotland the Brave A few mistakes but we had been having a few wee drams in the afternoon! Nothing like spur of the moment...
