The song tells the story of the 2014 Teddington Pram Race in 3’ 45”. It was filmed in the Masons Arms in Teddington by Alan Benns. Footage of the Pram Race day filmed by Mike Newham & Alan Benns.
The 2015 Teddington Village Fair and Pram Race will take place on Sunday 28th June.

Eleanor Daniels blue plaque unveiling Llanelli 8th. of October 2011

A blue plaque honouring the silent-era Welsh actress Eleanor Daniels, who died at the age of 107, has been unveiled in her home town, Llanelli.

She featured in plays and silent films in America in the years after World War I, and had a later career as a vocal coach.

But her first stage successes were as a teenager in Wales where she won three National Eisteddfod chairs and, in 1930, was honoured by the Gorsedd.

At the age of 104, three years before she died in 1994, Daniels gave an interview in her home in Connecticut to the American Welsh newspaper Ninnau.
