We have found paradise in Western Australia! Coral Bay is the best place to experience the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia and is an MUST SEE on your Western Australia Roadtrip!
In this weeks episode we arrive in the STUNNING Coral Bay, 1500km north of Western Australia. We get our first real taste of the MAGNIFICENT Ningaloo Reef and set up camp at the Coral Bay caravan park.

We get really adventurous, hire a car and head northwards into the outback through some of the most remote areas of Western Australia in search of checking off our bucket list item of scuba diving Ningaloo Reef in amazing Western Australia. We make our way through Jurien Bay and stock up on supplies in Carnarvon Western Australia before finally arriving at our destination of Coral Bay Western Australia. Coral Bay is even more amazing than the pictures and stories make it out to be. This little slice of paradise could easily be home for us as it currently is for our friends and fellow YouTubers from Black Pepper Abroad. No trip to Western Australia is complete without a visit to the famous Pink Lake so we make sure to pass by it on our way back south.

This coral reef is the largest I have ever seen and covers basicly the whole bay, making it possible to snorkel for months without having seen it all.

Join our crew as we take you to some of the most spectacular locations the Ningaloo Reef has to offer. The heart of the Ningaloo Reef is accessible from Coral Bay and has an amazing biodiversity with incredible hard coral formations, some soft corals and sponge gardens. We often see a variety of reef sharks, turtles, anemone fish, nudibranchs, moray eels, multiple species of colourful reef fish, stingrays and so much more!
We offer in water interactions with whale sharks, humpback whales and manta rays!

Here is a short video of my first dive off of Coral Bay, Western Australia. This is minimal for what you would see on a dive with Ningaloo Reef Dive. What was so unique about this marine sanctuary was the megafauna. In one day you could see dugongs, manta rays, humpback whales or whalesharks (season dependent), reef sharks, tiger sharks, and whatever else the reef wants to grace you with! Definitely recommend adding this destination on your must see list for diving!
40 hours at Ningaloo Reef, Coral Bay, Western Australia
40 hour continuous timelapse of the beautiful light pollution free Ningaloo Reef. Encompasses 2 sun sets, 2 sun rises and 2 moon rises. My camera was still clicking away when I retrieved it at 7:30 am. ... hidden away in its bush hide out at the top of a sand dune. Minimal post processing.. just deflickering and white balance ramping. One of a series of day/night 24+ hour timelapses from around Western Australia.

Pardon the jittery panning scenes as I haven't fully explore the options available and was flying manually.
Coral Bay is approximately 1-1.5 hour drive away from Exmouth and a 2.5 hours flight from Perth.
It is the gateway to the amazing World Heritage listed Ningaloo Reef just off the white sandy beaches of Coral Bay.

35. Bayview, Coral Bay WA
Bayview Coral Bay is located within an easy stroll to one of the most beautiful beaches of Australia.
The park uses bore water and fresh water is only available for filling up bottles and containers.
Our stay here was during school holidays and was quite busy. There is a pool and kids playground.
This is the only place so far in 9 months that we have been charged a fee for our dog. She cost $2 to stay.
Our cost to stay was $56 per night.
Our stay was 20-21st September 2016
